Because the Republicans are in power and Bush is a Republican! Just like the Republicans were in power when they went after Clinton! And hopefully in November the Democrat's will have the Senate and can go after that lying low-life in the white house!
Clinton was never impeached, nor has any president ever been impeached!

Well let's think about that. We did put the country through impeachment over lies. Clinton lied under oath. If he had just admitted everything, it wouldn't have been drug out so long.
As far as Bush lying (which is the soap box, bumper sticker logic, message your trying to send) we're still waiting on the evidence of that.
There is a difference between lying and having bad information. Everyone keeps saying Bush lied. But where's the proof? No one can tell me what he lied about. It wasn't about WMDs. Not only did he have proof of that.. we actually FOUND some.
Also, nobody wants to admit that Kerry, Clinton, Clinton, and Kennedy to name a few also said that Iraq had WMD's.

Let's step back and learn some history. Clinton, the serial rapist, was impeached for lying under oath, and suborning perjury, things for which he eventually was stripped of his law license for. Liberals would rather have you believe it was impeachment over receiving oral favors in the White House, but the perjury took place because, well, Clinton could not tell the truth if his life depended on it, and he got caught being himself under oath...
Show where the President lied - how did he lie, what was the lie about exactly? Many, many members of Congress, democrats, voted to go to war based on the very same intelligence that the White House had... but now they're turning cowards again, revealing their true colors, and running away from actually having done something right for a change. They must've seen the poll data, and are now uncomfortable with having to be courageous. Like Joe Lieberman, who may lose his job for owning up to the truth...

you know if you liberals would quit bringing up all the bad things that BUSH is doing things would be just fine in this country. It's you liberals that keep making bush look bad. GOD forbid we have someone have sex in the whitehouse and have him think about his family when in the public eye BUT it's purfectly fine to kill innocent people. Do you realize that according to a recent poll on CNN 50 percent YES FIFTY PERCENT of the american public still beleive there were WMD's in Iraq and it was ok to go to war because of that? There is absolutely no hope for this country what so ever. We are buried too many layers in the lies at this point to ever crawl out from under them.

Oh, dear God, all the misinformation in this batch of answers...
The impeachment of Clinton was for perjury and obstruction of justice - in other words, not because he got a BJ in the White House, but because he lied to a grand jury about it. He was acquitted by the Senate. The only other President to ever have been impeached was Andrew Johnson, who was acquitted by one vote.
So Cantcu, Heidi, and those of you who insist that Clinton was not impeached, please re-read your copy of the Constitution, specifically Article I, Section 2:
"The House of Representatives...shall have the sole Power of Impeachment."
Also Article I, Section 3:
"The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present."
In your haste to defend Clinton and attack Bush, you got your facts confused. Please give your answers a little more thought in the future.

David, you know it was because the republicans were in control during Clinton's administration, and they still are now! Why on earth would they go after one of their own? They are waiting for some democrats to get in there, to start the investigation. That way, they can do the right thing, impeach Bush, blame it on the dems, and still save face for the upcoming presidential election!

Conservatives are in power. There are more conservatives in congress and generally in the federal government; maybe if people voted otherwise... It would help.

Wow... People really do hate Clinton... Don't know why. They make it seem like he invented adultery. Bush sent us to war on FALSE pretenses. Unless you can show evidence of WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, please don't say Bush didn't LIE to the general public. "We'll get Bin Linden dead or alive," Bush said. It's been over four years--where's Bin Laden? We even caught Saddam before Bin Laden. And what did Saddam do to us personally?

bush will never be impeaced because of his war crimes as it is making giant profits for the people with the power to impeach. clinton was a champion for the working people or better put the common american and that did not=big profit for the people who pulled his impeachment off. clintons problem was not for the goverment to work out but for experts on family matters. any one else would have recieved family help first and formost.

they didn't impeach on the sex, they impeach him because he lied, not only to the American public but more importantly to a grand jury. What kind of example is that for our President to present to a nation. He's a pig and he did more to destroy the moral fiber of this nation in his 8 years than any president we've had.
