Unless things gets a heck of lot worse in Iraq the chances of Bush pulling out the troops is slim to none even with the Democrat Congress. So all Bush has to do is ride out the wave, leave office in 2009 and then hand a ready made unsolvable disaster to Hillary who by pulling US troops out could end up in a worse position than Bush was in.

Would Iraq, as George W. Bush said, possibly become a base of operations for terrorists? And would the cost of the war be mush less than dealing with terrorist attacks against the U.S.?

And where would Iraq be in WMD programs? Would they have them? Would they be co-operating with other countries?

Hello, English is not my mother language though I am good in it.

However, I am in a bad need to know the English term that describs this.
"You know when some products are very essential to citizens in a country (like oil for example) the country controls the prices of such products and sometimes they sell those products with less than its actual costs".

Can you tell me what do you name:
1. Pdoucts that their prices are controlled by the governement?
2. products that governments sometimes have to sell it with less than the actual price (less than their costs).
3. What is the word "subsidized" means? is it to refer to point number 2. like to say "subsidized products"?

Thnx in advance
Hossam

I'm 29 yrs old, and have a BA in political science, as well as a little grad school. I've been out of college for 6 yrs and have had a few jobs that I didn't like or really didn't click for me. I'm having trouble finding direction for my career and don't want to job hop until retirement age. I feel like being unsure was OK at age 18-24, but I'm almost 30! It seems like many people my age have found careers and are getting 'settled' with their careers. I've had so many 'ideas' about careers from firefighter to teacher, lawyer, aid worker, peace corps, etc. (the list goes on) and can't seem to figure myself out. Anyone else had this problem? Suggestions or advice?

Prisons are rife with gang members, of different ethnic and racial groups, that have their own form of gang leadership, codes of ethics (i.e., killing rival gang members), methods of encrypting messages sent from outside gang leadership, details in place to smuggle in contraband, and escape plans.

Since they think they are so smart, as well as having built up their bodies working out in the prison yard, why not draft them into specialized forces of the armed services, so that they can use their gang skills above (and more) to fight the ever-increasing danger in the middle east instead of sending tired reservists with families or our young, law-abiding men to their dismemberment and deaths?

I think it would be appropriate, not cruel and unjust punishment, to put such vicious criminals to real work: that of hunting down and eliminating terrorists. Maybe then they'd learn how to make it in society, because they'd have to live by their wit & RULES.

What do you think of this?

On a scale of 1 - 7 (with 1 being far left-wing, 4 being middle of the road, and 7 being far right-wing) where would you place guys like Sean who think the media is right-wing?

Personally, I place the media at about 2.5 and myself at about 5.5 on that scale.

how come the world didn't tumble into communism in a domino effect? Is it possible that the threat of communism was magnified by politicians to propigate a personal agenda? I guess my point is this, we spent an unbelieveable amount of money and sacrificed many lives to fight an imaginary war on people who "hated our freedom" are we going to fall for it again?

What is WRONG with these people?

Are they simply too young to remember what a bad economy is?

If they think this is bad I can hear them crying and whining now once the next mild recession comes along! BTW, have you noticed that even though the recessions get milder and milder (as evaluated statistically by professional economists (read: in reality)), the media and the far left-wingers characterize each one as "the worst recession since blah, blah, blah"? Those dolts really need to get out more!

Personally, I think they know that the economy is doing very well, thank you very much, and they're just doing their usual "Give us your money, we'll take care of you, and THEN everything will be just fine (because that's what we'll be telling you to think)." This is Hillary Clinton's principal message once you listen very, very carefully to all she offers up.

Basically I dont think america is any different in 8 years much of which was controlled by Bush and Repub. I am asking socially like abortion and all the "hot button issues" that honestly dont seem to ever change even tho we get very excited about it all. Also does anyone feel like we are on an individual level poorer or richer or are things basically the same?

I noticed the 5 year chart on the Dow Jones averages resembles a giant W formation. You can see it in the link below.
Is this George W. Bush leaving his mark on the market?
The lowest part in the W was because of all the corporate scandals going on at that time. Especially the Enron scandal. The second lowest part in the W formation was March 3, 2003. Coincidentally that was the time when Bush declared war on Iraq.

Was it the war that lifted stocks from their pre-war lows? If so, what will America have to do next to keep the stock market going up?

Viewed in these stark terms, would you prefer bigger gains in share prices or a declining market.

What is the true cost the nation and the world must pay for peace?

A package was delivered on Friday from Fed Ex and I wasn't here. It is too big to fit in my box (I live in an apt) so if they came by no one was here to answer. Someone signed for it that I don't know. Would they have taken it to the office here? or the nearest post office? or...? How do I find out? Thanks

President George W Bush signed an agreement with the Prime Minister of Canada and the President of Mexico in 2005 that eliminates borders between our three countries. I'm sure most who read this do not believe me, so please visit the U.S. GOVERNMENT links at the bottom of this message to verify.

We are no longer JUST the United States of America. We are now to be referred to as The North American Union. And we should expect our official currency to change to what is now called the "Amero."

Just thought you might like to know the purpose of 9/11 and all the war. It was to distract you from the fact that the USA has been sold out to Canada and Mexico.

The truth is though, does it really matter?

NOTICE the use of the term North American Energy Policy when visiting the first site. It would normally be the US Energy Policy.

Exxon Mobil, one of G.W. Bush's (and the republican party's) major sponsors, has tried to bribe scientists to support EM's position on climate change. In addition, the Bush administration is also failing to take action on greenhouse gas emissions (this would take away from Exxon Mobil profits). Does this not scream 'conflict of interest'? Should Bush have to comment about the actions of Exxon Mobil, since he is so strongly linked to them?

How should America change its politics so that the country can be run without fear of ulterior motives/hidden agendas?
