Good question.

There is only once correct answer: Till the 'end of his term'

- which takes in the variety of possibilities that include:

Heart attack, stroke, brain aneurysm or any other sudden deadly illness.

Suicide over the guilt of so many American soldiers dying for nothing (especially if the Congress forces him to pull the troops out).

Assignation - has happened to several Presidents. The majority, according to polls, are not happy with him. Some are very unhappy and others are crazy angry at him for such things as his opposition to stem cell research, his desecration of nature preserves, his tax cuts for the most wealthy while cutting college funds, and for that stupid half smile on his face when he talks about `staying the course'., or about how good a job the Administration did cleaning up after Katrina in New Orleans, or about publicly opposing gay marriage; just to name a few issues.

And, of course, Bin Laden has it out for him,

Impeachment for a dazzling variety of justified reasons.

Resignation: As the Congress delves into his illegal war against a sovereign nation without UN approval, his illegal wiretapping and his secret torture prisons, and if they threaten him with impeachment- he might just bow out and take his profit.

And there is also the top secret 'CHENEY PRESIDENCY' resignation plan. He might have made a deal to resign in his last year with Dick, so that Dick could have the glory of being the President - even if for a short while.

Remember you read that here.

There is however another secret plan by which Cheney resigns for heath reasons and Bush makes Condi the second lady.

Hello from the USA. Pres. Bush has two more years in office. He will not and should not be impeached, if that's what you are asking. Our media here, along with the Hollywood people, have a hidden anti-Bush agenda so don't believe all the negativity you hear and read about him. They don't care about the soldiers in Iraq, they just want them to come home so they can say Bush failed. Childish, isn't it?

fruitcell tells it how it is these people are nothing but puppets , they push the agender and wouldnt get any where near office if they were not members of this sick but very wealthy in money and history group , and the implications of this will soon be seen , a attack on iran another false flag event like 9/11 police state total bigbrother, WW3 and world government and if yu say that wont happen well you will see in years not decades .

as for bush staying in office longer than he should do lets hope ww3 doesnt kick off to soon other wise he can stay in power but like fruitcel pointed out the agender is pushed whoever ends up as president unless the people scrap voting machines take control and vote for a president not afiliated with these people .

Maybe he will just declare an emergency and declare himself President for life. Not that it matters, whoever gets to be President takes his orders from the shadows

Until January 20, 2009 when the next president takes office. He won't be impeached. The Democrats have already said they won't impeach him.

why ask this when you can wiki the answer? It's not a matter of opinion; if he were to serve another term, he'd be in violation of the constitution (I forget the amendment, but it was post-Roosevelt and did, in fact, limit the president to two terms. Bush is, in fact, on his second term... ergo......)

I think that he will stay president until his term is over. As much as people say that they want him removed or whatnot, the likely hood that any such event will happen appears to be slim.
