The Pentagon has disclosed plans for the US and Britain to send more war ships within striking distance of Iran. The aircraft carrier USS Eisenhower is near and another war ship is on it's way.

Experts fear Iran may use the most effective weapon against US invasion: Shutting down its oil capacity there and in surrounding countries-- within two days. Right now the US oil-based economy is operating on a low 1.5 percent excess capacity. Without Iranian oil, US excess capacity would drop to minus 4%.

Since India and China (with their growing economies) use lots of Iranian oil, will those countries put their oil needs on hold while the US bombards Iran-- or do you think those countries would be upset with the US?

Americans will feel the price consequences of an invasion within two days.

Would Americans support increased unstable oil prices because of a US invasion?

It's one thing to go into battle with alacrity, knowing that you're safe from harm's way, and not having to deal with the struggles of inconvenient living standards and the dangers from it. But it's another to have blood, people you love dearly, who by your decisions are sent to a russian roulette with death, who have to endure the fruits of your decisions to save a country so to speak. So would he still be as anxious to extend this 'mission' as it seems there isn't a 'war' now but more of a means of controlling a violent political/religious war between sunni and shiites, knowing that his 2 sons would be amidst the violence?

Blah blah. Well if abortion is killing intelligent life, but yet has not the intelligence to live on it's own without a mother or life support, then isn't killing an animal unjustifiable as well since those animals ARE able to survive and live on their own, or cry to their mothers when they are in need.
