Many times here I've read claims that 'liberals will believe anything'. Why is that? I am not from the US, and what I and many others see is exactly the opposite.

Where does the money go that the states sue the tobacco company's for ? It surely not going to the people,or taxes. Thats millions & millions of dollars. It seems like the price of tobacco, stayed at the same price it was in the 80's all the rest is taxes.

Surely this would weed out any would-be sexual scoundrels (Bill 'cigar' Clinton) and any warmongering rednecks with the IQ of a fruit fly (George W.)
Maybe the FBI could do the profiling. What do you think?

We were attacked on 9/11. Everyone at that time prayed, went to church, and was ready to defend this country. We have not been attacked since, yet clearly half of this country can not say anything positive about what the President chose to do in retaliation of 9/11 five yrs. later. We have divided again, stoped praying, and attack anything this President does. Many act as if 9/11 never happened. What is it going to take to wake people up??

With the polarization of the 2 political parties and the near split down the middle during the past 6 years of elections, is there a need for a party to site in the middle and look out for the majority of the citizens of our country. Communities buckle every time one person does not like something and calls the ACLU. Where are our political leaders when the majority speaks? Recently in MI the majority voted in favor of doing away with affirmative action plans and setting in place other opportunities for children of all schools to be evaluated against their peers of their school for selections to state universities. After the majority voted, a judge overturned it stating that it was unconstitutional. If it were unconstitutional, how did it make it to the ballet?

We often send out cards, etc. and talk about universal peace. We wish all the best for our loved ones and we also wish for peace.
But every day we hear of wars, terror attacks and countries simply out to destroy each other.
When will this peace that we're looking and wishing for really fall upon our world?
