I would put into place technology that has existed for decades. Cars that don't need gas. Thus releasing the strangle hold that big oil has on world politics.
I would make healthcare available to everyone. Why do we have to pay $100 for a prescription when we already have health insurance anyway? Why are Doctors regularly treated to catered events hosted by Pharmaceutical companies? Doesn't this seem like collusion?
I would forever balance the wealth of the world. 3% of the world's population posess 97% of the worlds wealth. I would fix that immediately. Education, philanthropy, and mandatory public service to assist with those that aren't of the advantaged.
I would convene a multi-national tribunal to present the great crimes of humanity (slavery, holocaust, genocide in Africa, etc) and hold each nation responsible for their actions. There would be a formal apology issued by all the guilty parties and we would all start over and move on from there.
I would form the World Council of Equality to be the objective voice to settle disputes in the World. I would dispand NATO and the U.N.

Couldnt you have some fun?..Id round up all the extreme religious fanatics,{including the ones in America}, All the tinpot dictators, all the rascists and those full of corporate greed and avarice!..And i'd put them on an island, there would be nothing on that island, exept for one object stuck in the middle!..AN AXE!..a very sharp axe!..And then i would sit back and watch what all these disfunctional people do with it...To each other!..Think about it, we could rid the world of all the maniacal haters for their gods, The racial supremisists..All the greedy non caring corporates, the whole lot..And without firing a single shot!..The trouble with this proposition is..That after a short while, i think the people would put ME on that island as well!..People with total power historically cannot be trusted ever to do the right thing by their own people!

All powerful? Well, I'd provide the ability to generate wealth.

I think that if wealth was unlimitless, it would eliminate many of the motivations of greed and crime.

What comes to mind is that one episode of Star Trek where all the people had enough wealth to spend time studying the arts, cultural and improving themselves. There was no crime - it was utopia.

So, in order to reproduce that we need another Star Trek tool - a replicator. If people could instantly replicate a vehicle, food, or anything they desired, then I think mankind would focus on the higher level of self-improvement....making the world a better place.
