Did you know that as a member of the House of Representatives Dick Cheney voted against legislation that would have helped free Nelson Mandela from his 27 years in prison? He voted AGAINST freeing Nelson Mandela! The recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Lenin Peace Prize, and Amnesty International's Ambassador of Conscience Award.

How does this make you feel. What are your thoughts?

tell the whole story, you liberals are great at half truths, and by the way the noble peace prize was also given to Arafat, the worlds biggest terrorist.

Source?
Mandela was not a prisoner in the US, so the House of Representatives had no jurisdiction over his incarceration. If you're suggesting that Cheney voted against legislation that might have pressured South Africa to release him then you should be honest and explain what that pressure would have consisted of. If, as I suspect, you are actually referring to the many votes against economic sanctions for South Africa then you also have to admit that there may have been side effects to such legislation that may have been the real cause of his negative vote.

Cheney is an *** who deserves to be smacked in the face with a giant cock, but misleading people about his record isn't helping anyone and only makes you look like a schmuck. Piss off.

Soooooo.....in other words, you're pointing out the obvious fact that Cheney is Satan's butt-puppet. Is this supposed to shock everyone? I think after shooting a guy in the face and not receiving so much as a slap on the wrist for it, the rest of the free world has copped to the fact that DICK CHENEY IS EVIL!!! Here's a suggestion, Scooter: Find something else to worry about. Maybe AIDS research, starving children, world poverty, drug crimes, illiteracy, Elton John's bad toupee, etc.

Wow! 14 out of 435 Congressmen help impeachment, over 2 hundred left to pass. Polls mean no longer something. 1st - they are unquestionably manipulated. 2d - they have not got any criminal standings in basic terms a media ploy. If there extremely replaced into this "meant evidence" he could be one. Democrats are on top of issues & they could extremely choose for to embarrass the President with this little adventure. attempt to no longer have self assurance each and every thing you examine or hear. the internet is a large advice medium & an excellent greater effectual incorrect information medium.

I couldn't have a lower opinion of Shooter so obviously what you say doesn't change that.
I do think it's interesting that the response from some of the cons to your question was to say that it is irrelevant because it happened so long ago. They should have explained that to the cons who dig up 30 year old scandals involving a democrat in order to shift the focus away from a current scandal involving a republican.

It makes me want to go play Xbox. What Cheney did in 1986 is irrelevant today. He has a couple years left as VP and then he'll disappear from political life because of his poor health. The issue is moot.

He voted against the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, the Equal Rights Amendment, a bill to ban Teflon "Cop Killer" bullets, and another to ban hard plastic handguns that can get through metal detectors. He is extremely right-wing but his low-key manner doesn't make that as clear.
