If we live in a society, then shouldn't we provide equal opportunity to those around us so we can have a healthy and productive society? Don't you think this is one of the reasons USA has such high crimes, low poverty in certain areas? Shouldn't the government spend in the society, and see it flourish?

Isn't this what the basis of religion is, sharing, caring, and helping for another? Then how can certain 'religious' people tolerate people dying of illnesses they cannot afford to heal?

Students unable to afford college? Children left without summer camps? Decent class sizes and caring schools?

Why can't humans in this "glorious" nation come together and help one another? Is all this just idealism and America is too weak to achieve this dream?

Is that what we're headed to under Democratic rule in both houses?

This is to start a little political debate. I myself am an avid Moderate Republican (meaning I'm not ultra conservative), and I have many opinions that I'm not going to share, but please, tell me what benefit you expect to see from the Democrat upheaval. Don't see any benefit? Then what's the harm?

Again, I stand on a ground that I don't really want to get terribly invovled but I will respond to emails privately as long as you approach me with respect and you can expect the same from me.

Have they ever taken 5 minutes out of their day to really become educated about it? Or do they only believe all the BS that the government puts on the TV?

In the form of taxes, education, land, ect…

“Of coarse they should, BUT after the BLACKS PAY BACK the US for the portions owed to the families of each union solder that died to liberate them, and for all the damages of all the "race riots" over the years, and payback all the special benefits and perks received just for being a minority, there might not be much left over.”

Don’t you dare use slavery as an excuse... white people were slaves too!!!

They act like all us white folks were newly rich Americans that kept black people down in slavery when most whites that survived the boat trips here had less then a penny to their name and had to live off the land, not dine at the local posh city restaurant like you all seem to think we do now.

Okay, it goes like this: Not only do I disagree with how much of my money is being spent, I disagree with where it is being spent and how much waste is involved in spending it.

I am a dissatisified taxpayer, and I would like a partial refund. How do I get one?

If you don't pay taxes, please don't answer!

Is it because the Japanese are not white they can get away with it, thats what it sure seems like. I constantly hear **** on the news about the government trying to integrate schools and work forces. What's the point of "diversity" when in most cases blacks conglomerate with other blacks, whites with other whites, mexicans with other mexicans, asians with other asians, etc. There is NO strength in diversity. P.S. Affirmative Action sucks, even though I am a white female.

I've heard much discussion about the UN (both pro & con) on Yahoo! Answers. Is there a need to have a place where all the world governments can come together to "speak" with each other? If so, and you believe the present UN isn't that place, what do you suggest would be better?
