Agree, and never trust it either. Those in charge do not care about you. Anyone who thinks either the Republican or Democratic parties (for example) cares about them (or the country) is foolish. Those in power only care about power and wealth.
Knowing that the Iraq was based on lies and how it has turned into a colossal loss and failure, the SOBs who could stop it do not, and will not as long as they can keep filling their pockets. I guess the money in their pockets cleans blood from their hands.
How is it possible that people in the Bush administration can sleep at night knowing that they are responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people and the destruction of an even greater number of lives?

There's an old line I think you should keep in mind.
Question authority and the authorities will question you.
Of course we should never accept something at face value. We're handed laws that we are expected to follow. If you don't agree with those laws, you can question them in a public forum, you can work to change them. Questioning them with actionable manner will likely earn you a criminal charge, lol.
The basic rule of thumb is to investigate everything for yourself. Don't believe something is good for you just because someone else says it is. Check into it, research it and find the answer for yourself.

Law is the authority being followed by most countries. Religion, politics and education are ony influential but the law is mostly followed by people for the legality of acts.

Agree, although in some instances "question" is too confrontational. Evaluate, consider, do not obey blindly, always keep in mind that those in authority are human, and fallible, and may not be doing what is right, or just.

Questioning authority is good. Questioning reality is bad. The hard part is knowing the difference.

I was born in '65 and thats still a good slogan from those years and I would suggest not only questioning it but investigate it from both sides, learn about it,educate your self...but alas everyone will hate you because you'll sound and act like a conservative
