Why are the Republicans dubbed racists when it was the Republican Party that was started as an anti slavery party, a Republican president (Abraham Lincoln) who signed the emancipation proclamation freeing black slaves, and a Republican congress in the 1960’s that passed the Civil Rights Act and sent it to Lyndon Johnson to sign, and the only political party in this country who has an active member of congress who used to be in the KKK is a Democrat (Robert Byrd)? Anyone………….please?

.. put up with more and more land going under concrete to accomodate newcomers?
are people not already angry when they go to town and it seems 1 in every 4 people are speaking in any language but english?
no wonder people are feeling swamped.....and yes that is the correct and acurate term to use for how some people feel.
is the only reason they are doing this to prop up an economy that cant sustain itself at current levels of credit card debt.

What is the legal process behind getting a "common" name? I like Mark, Johnny, and Trumpbert as names to change to. Mine as Stephen is too uncommon and have troubles with getting it known as a badge or ID card. Can you provide directions for how it changes to common ones? Can I change my records from school with this?

I am 32 now. Thank you. I live in the U.S. I live in Minnesota.

I am writing a business letter to the "president" of Animal services. This is formal so I can't make any mistakes. Do I use...

"Dear President [last name]"

Or

"Dear [last name]" Although I think it isn't polite to just call them by their last name. (example: PRESIDENT BUSH sounds better than BUSH)

Everyday more tortured Iraqi bodies are found..

A pair of suicide bombs ripped through a crowd of would-be police recruits in Baghdad on Sunday, killing at least 35, and authorities found 75 bodies in the capital and Baqouba, an unusually high number even by Iraq's grim standards.

How many tortured dead bodies will make the
Republicans happy with their war?
