One of my muslim friends was residing at a muslim villege.
His son played some fireworks on an occasion of
indian victory in indo-pak cricket match.
From the next day torture started against their family by neighbour muslims with the active provocation from muslim clerics.
[eg. stone throwing, spoiling by faecal matters, eveteasing, abusing, threatening etc].
They had left that area and started residing at a housing where all the neighbours are hindus.
They are living without disturbances but social acceptance is poor by neighbours.
This is no fiction, a real fact.
Where the hell the educated, progressive and pro-indian muslims will go?

Gas here, in TN, has rose .21 in the past 10 days. 1) has there been something OTHER than the election to effect prices that I have not heard about? and 2) If not, how can it be justified this time for a price raise?

I think min wage is for the basics... A place to live, food, heat and clothing! Maybe you will not be able to own a home , or drive a Jag but you should be able to have the basics!

In addition to the news posted below, has anyone noticed that most of the Democrats being touted for top positions have a known history of corruption? How is this any different from the Republicans' corruption that Pelosi claimed she is intent on cleaning up? Will the Republicans go back to their principles or are we doomed to live in a country where we have 2 corrupt parties fighting for (limited) power?

how do you stop them, how do you convince them to stop. And worse, if you know they will go on to hurt abuse kill others, are you responsible for not stopping them?
And last so we have no confusion here, this person, is someone you love.
This is totally hypothetical, it is a philosophical question I would like to see better worded.
But better, I would love to hear your answers.

Here's a thing that gets me. I think some people are going in a dangerous direction, in regards to attacking political correctness in the country. OK, yes political correctness is related to certain things, in the country. Like

a)calling anyone who supports border control "racist" (though unlike many "patriots", I am a caring human being who cares for some kind of solution)

b) certain issues regarding homosexuality (though, "natural" or not, it's still not really an important issue, with everything we have going on today, except for some religious people)

c) double standards for acceptance of anti-white racism

d) "Merry Christmas" thing being blown way out of proportion.

BUT, all that having been said, not being able to shove the Christian faith down everyone else's throat is NOT an issue of political correctness. It's an issue of not everyone being Christian. For example, people complaining about taking prayer out of school. This is not a "PC" issue. Unlike the Merry Christmas thing, where noone is being forced to celebrate Christmas or Christianity and people are still allowed to celebrate their own holidays, public prayer would be endorsing the notion of special rights for one particular faith.

There are some people don't know the difference between attacking political correctness and just being an *** who wants special treatment, it seems like. That could be dangerous, if the "anti-PC" movement takes a turn in the wrong direction. Who knows? Next, we may be passing laws based on PERSONAL religious morals that not everyone shares. Dangerous path. You don't see Muslims trying to pass laws to ban pork, do you? No, they just tell their own children not to eat it. Because they don't have the majority privilege, in the US, to disrespect other beliefs.

Does anyone else think there is a HUGE difference between attacking political correctness and being a rude selfish asshole? And that this anti-PC movement could be dangerous?

1: Bush invaded the wrong country
2: We're there now, we better do it to them before they decide to do it to us
3: Ground troops are not the answer, we need a quick solution, carpet bombing would be the best plan, it's like ripping off a bandaide, innocents are going to dye either way, so instead of dilly dallying and ripping it slowlu, we need to just rip it fast and get it over with.
What do you think?
