In Somolia we were trying to protect humanitarian aid from evil war lords who stole food coming in. When we went after one of the war lords a few of our guys were killed in a terrible event shown in the movie Black Hawk Down. Because it was the Clinton Administration we pulled out and didn't stay to finish the job because things got too hot. Many of the service men wanted to stay and finish the job. When I saw the movie I didn't like that we just pulled out because the other side got too aggressive. I heard recently that Ben Ladin saw our " pull out if things get too tough" attitude and said we were really a paper tiger. Supposedly, he thought that crashing several of our planes into the WTC and pentagon would cause us to run from him just like we ran in Somolia. IS IT ACTUALLY DOCUMENTED THAT OUR RESPONSE IN SOMOLIA CAUSED OBL TO THINK OF US AS A PAPER TIGER, THUS ENCOURAGING HIM TO PLAN AND IMPLIMENT 911.

Who saw countdown about how Ann Coulter was caught in numerous lie's in her book. Will she be sued?

A firm which checks out books for honesty and accuracy claims "they found so many lie's in Coulters book they don't even know where to begin".

They even showed the claims she made in her book and then showed proof that she lied. Claims she made like classes in elementary school that teach sex education. She claimed she saw the article in the New York Times in 2000. They located that article and it said nothing of the sort.

These people claim their is hardly anything in her book they have found accurate.

Is she another nutcase lesbian neo-con who can't even lie good? Hell even Bush was able to con most of America into the Iraq war.

6 Billion people can't live like this.....?

The world is a critically overcrowded place. There simply isn't enough energy to allow all of us to live the way even a relatively modest western family live.
Most of give to charity, often to the 3rd world, but our consumer habits are what keeps the third world in their current situtation.
We rely on our governments to 'sort it all out' with aid and trade agreements ect, but we must realise; they aren't aiming for a solution to this problem. The current situation suits them. It puts food in our supermarkets, petrol in our cars, shoes on our feet. It suits them 'cos we are easy to keep happy in this fat and lethargic state.
Of course they're only puppets. The multi-national corporations pull all the strings, but their interests are never gonna be for the greater good, capitilism took care of that long ago.
So anyway the question is:
Since it is obvious that we can't rely on government or commerce to help, how are we going to make the world a fairer place?
Don't you feel guilty?

Does anyone still believe Islam is peaceful?

With the capture of the Islamic diaper heads in England that were planning on exploding planes over the Atlantic ocean,is there actually any one who still thinks Islam is a religon of peace & love for anyone not of their faith.If so, then why has the Islamic community not condemned or even tried to distance themselves from the actions of terrorists?Why is the Koran so full of hate for any other faith than their own? (i.e.)"If you cannot convert them, then you must make them poor & enslave them or kill the infidels." And don't be so lame as to use the worn uot saying,"You're profiling",or "Don't judge all of Islam for the actions of a few."or the patheticly over used "Raceist". This is a serious question. Why is it happening?

ok people. why is it that the penny is carelessly tossed aside. people dont care about the penny and is used more for crafts then what it was made for. Do u think this is what one of the GREATEST PRESIDENTS of the united states would have wanted? he was a great president and does not deserve this tratment. sure you might say, sure yea a penny. whatever. who cares about pennies? right? well sure what happened in the past stays in the past but think about what greatness this president brought to this world.

Has this crossed your mind??

In our just and noble society, with so many tired and downtrodden people. Why havent these terror groups exploited our capitolism against us? I would think they would try to tempt people with "easy money" to win thier allegiance. But with these recent arrests it looks to me like they not only want people with the right ideology but also people they can count on to do the job? Why is that?

Republicans... it's great that we diverted an attack... but why do some of you have to be so rude about it?

Everything from calling liberals "terrorist" and saying liberals are "disappointed that the attack didn't happen"...

gas keeping going up?

I heard by the end of November, gas will be around 4.00 a gallon is this true. I am sick of the goverment , sick of bush, and everybody else at the oil comapines. When will they finally do something about gas?
