the only things found were about 500 chemical artillery shells from the war between Iraq and Iran era. They were deteriorated and unusable in the form they were found...corroded and dangerous to handle. some may have been duds that didn't explode, but there were cashes (of the total 500) found buried. The Republicans made a lot of noise when they were found (some months ago), but they sound they made dissipated. he common sense of other policy makers finally came to the surface. The idea that the Iraqis were intentionally hiding them from the inspectors didn't add up...The conclusion was that they Iraqis actually conformed to the UN resolutions a few years after the 1st war. They really wanted to get rid of the crap.
I read that 1/2 of Americans believe that there are now WMD's in Iraq, or that they were found. They can't bend their mind around the idea that the whole premise of going there (at least publically) was untrue. I hope the next 2 presidents don't have to deal with Iraq, it would be nice to put some money into defense rather than offense. look at the attached site below

It is said that yes there were deadly chemicals for biological warfare. Sold to Saddam by no less than Rumsfeld, and that's a fact. But these are now so old that they pose no threat what so ever. I also heard that certain members under orders from DC, when it was known privately that there were no WMD, tried to smuggle in weapons to use as proof for justification of what was done in Iraq, but certain members in the CIA who are on the side of truth stopped it. I believe all will come out in the open. I don't believe Iran will suffer an actual all out war as Iraq has and is, because the truth is being made known about certain war crimes. I hope this helps. :)

We eventually found 500 very deteriorated old bombs, circa 1986.
There are those who say Saddam shipped the weapons to Iran. However they were under surveillance, including satellite for a long time before we invaded and they had no indication if such a large undertaking.
Most importantly, the Iraq National Treasury had been systematically looted for years, Saddam was in possession os millions in cash and multi millions in bank accounts set up around the world. There had been no money for such WMDs.
No weapons, just lies.

The Bush administration deceived and lied the rustic into attacking Iraq, cynically exploiting the terrorism of 9/11 to launch a conflict long on the time table of neocons which is composed of Cheney and Wolfowitz. Bush's professional-conflict propaganda worked so nicely that even immediately greater desirable than a million/2 of all individuals wrongly believe that Saddam had WMDs and replaced into at the back of 9/11.The Bush administration produced hundreds of fake information thoughts that have been aired on television around the rustic as information, constituting what the GAO, the investigative arm of Congress, calls unlawful 'covert propaganda.'"

They were not. The war was for weapons and weapons were not found. The war should not have happened. All those innocent people, all those homeless children with no parents, all those parents with no children, all those widows and hungry, sad grief stricken people and for what? No the removal of Mr. Hussein was not worth all that pain and suffering that still continues. Now they are in utter chaos and nothing has improved for them three years on. No one can justify what has happened. It's sick, all those terrible terrible atrocities and no one has been brought to the stand and sentenced for causing all those deaths.

No - they were not. Political hacks are fond of announcing that they are found from time to time, but the finds are all empty trucks, 30 year old dried up rusted artifacts, or conventional weapons that had been allowed.
Still - you can fool some of the people all of the time..
The current belief poll is at 50%, up from 30% a few months ago, due to Sen Rick Santorum's loud claim and nearly silent rebuttal by 'intelligence officials'.

No, no WMDs were ever found in Iraq and they never will be because they only existed in the imagination of G W Bush and Donald (watch out the foam is coming out of his mouth) Rumsfeld. As there existence was the reason for the War in Iraq the War was unnecessary and was fought for reasons not disclosed and which can only be speculated upon.

There were very view. Only a few shells that couldn't have been used anyway. The theory is that the WMD's were moved to Syria. As of 1998 Bill Clinton believed Saddam had WMD's that's why he launched a series of Tomahawk cruise missles into Iraq attempting to destroy suspected WMD sites. My personal opinion is that Saddam was a VERY good Poker Player. After all it wasn't just the US that thought Saddam had these weapons. Practically all of the worlds powers believed he had them. But as Poker goes if you Bluff long enough someone is bound to call you on it. GWB called him.

Some have been found and removed, the rest were removed by the russians to syria. This is not widly reported due to the fact that the russians are involved as they are on the UN security council.
The media still loves russia as a former communist country which is also another reason they said nothing.
