It is exactly that that makes the US so hated by many. Because Uncle Sam wants to be the lord of every court, and the king of every court yard. He wants to tell everyone what they can have, where they can have it, and when they can have it. It is the hypocritical nature of US foreign policy. It is like "do as I say do, not as I do". Imagine you had a club, and some bully and his cronies hijack it. The bully sets himself up as president, and his cronies as VP, secratary, tresurer, sergent at arms etc. then they set up the rules to suit and benefit them. They raid the coffers when one of them wants to have a kegger party. And deny others from the funds for ligitimate club business. And to keep the weaker members in line, they create privileges to dangle as a carot. If you agree with them and support their cause you can use the rest room, and drink from the fountain, and use the chairs. If they don't like you because you voice your displeasure of how they run things, they make you sit on the floor, drink from the hose out front of the club, and make you relieve yourself behind the tree next to the grounds keeper's shack. And because they made you go there(because the restroom was only for those who supported them or their drones)they fine you $300 for defacing club grounds. Then seek to kick you out of the club. After a while you will get tired and say "$@&*# this, I am not taking any more of their BS" Since you can't fight them head to head because there are more of them and they are stronger, you get back by keying their cars, slashing their tires etc. When Uncle Sam set himself up as the de facto lord of the planet. He would have gained more respect by handing things fair and unbiases. Instead Uncle Sam used his might to intimidate, browbeat, cheat, and coerce others. That tends to make you very unpopular.

America has tried to spread its influence by using economic sanctions, selective trade agreements, and military force. We have intervened in the domestic issues of other nations, supported corrupt governments, flaunted our wealth and manipulated events to show our righteousness. But terrorists are not the problem about our losing control of the government, the Japanese are doing a fine job. They own about 100% of Honolulu, and 80% of Los Angeles, Universal Studios, and are crippling our competiveness, after all we only spend about a billion dollars a day in Japan and to try to defend ourselves, we resort to outsourcing. Japan spends about $400,000,000 a year in Washington D.C. to make sure the Senators and representatives think the right things....who are the real terrorists?
