Because nuking any nation would be the worst possible course of action. Since the British News indicates, curently, that 4 of the arrested people have been released without charges and all that was found was "items of interest" the nature of which was not revealed, it seems to me that using weapons that would murder hundreds of thousands of people that had nothing to do with an event in Britain that may not even have been an actual terrorism incident might be premature, don't you think?

Nuking a country. Does that really seem like the answer? How would you feel if you were an innocent by-stander, going about your every day life, when suddenly another country decided to try and blow your country off the map?

That would not be considered "politically correct". The problem is that most of the people that get killed are not the ones that started the fighting, usually, it's the innocent people who are affected most, as the fighters hide under their mama's beds and leave the innocent to die. If they were real men, they would put on a uniform so we could see who they were.

Using a nuclear bomb affects not only the area bombed but its surroundings killing endangered species and damaging artifacts of supreme importance to the history of human evolution not to mention the ozone layer. Besides the areas that would be in any way useful to bomb are full of civilians and people who really have nothing to do with these problems.

Well, I'd just like to see some airport profling. Profiling works.

Muslims and swarthy looking males between 16 & 45 should be searched much more often than 80 year old grandmas and 7 year old black girls.

I am pleased to see that all of the answerers above me are feeling the same way I do about the asker. If there was really anyone who agreed with him I would suggest that we nuke them.

Iran may start it on Aug 21st. Its the day of the Muslim god returning or whatever and the date set by Iran to say if they will negotiate their nuke program. They may launch against Israel on that day. Lets see...

As trigger-happy as the s-o-b is, you have to be surprised why the cowboy didn't push the button - I bet he wanted to. But, maybe cooler heads prevailed and convinced him it would only start WWIII and its not time for that yet - save that for around the next election so he can suspend the elections and establish martial law and have himself appointed emporer.
