The way the constitution is written a president can, in theory, serve a total of nearly 10 years. If Bush were to leave office and Cheney took office after 1/20/07, he would be serving less than half of Bush's term. Consequently Cheney could serve two additional full terms on his own. The prospect of Cheney as president for nearly 10 years is enough to give me nighmares.

When I say I believe in certain things people say I cannot because of my pollitial affiliation. I am finding that Labels make it harder for me to get my beliefs across and perhaps I should just be independent. I am sick of being told what I stand for when it is wrong. Perhaps if people are doing intollerant things in the party I am affilated with I should not call myself a certain party. I should just vote for the lesser for the lesser of the evils of the candidates. What do you think? What should I do about labels getting in the way of who I am and what I believe?

i think he manipulated the gas shortage of the 1970's and was in cahoots with OPEC to create a crisis in order to get reelected.
he allowed our people to be captured and held hostage in iran.he killed several men in a feeble show of attempting to perform a phoney rescue.
what do you think?

The U.S government can pratice reism in the name of being careful, while their real enemies are the once who party and dine with them, and even live in their best houses, and some times get involved in the highest paid deals available in the U.S. and yet Americans dont see it.
