My understanding is that homosexuality isn't a choice. Why would anyone choose to be persecuted.

I believe marriage is for men and women.

Just as I am celebate, as I am not married, I believe homosexuals must remain celebate. I believe it's a shame they are homosexuals, and it's a shame I am single; but, that's just how life is. Life is the main course. Sex is just dessert. Some of us just don't get dessert.

This isn't the end of life, it goes on after this life; so, celebacy isn't the end of the world.

There's much more to life.

I feel if the orientation is due to psychological problems, they should be treated. If not, those are the cards that were dealt, make the best life you can, (as I am doing), and just live, love and be happy.

I believe we can't help what we are; but, we can help what we do about it.

But, any one who says gays have no place in our culture, is ignorant, as well as spineless.

I have a spine and say that your real issue is dealing with feelings of self-loathing you have when you look at a man and feel those deep stirrings.

Just admit you like dudes, buy a couple seasons of Will and Grace, and start to enjoy all the artistic, legal, political and social improvements that gay people have contributed to culture. Because there's no escaping or changing the basic nature of people just because you don't like them or approve of them or can't admit that you desperately want to sleep with them.

Yep!!
I DO!

They really have no place in ANY culture, let alone "our culture"!

Thye are the enemy of true progress and of that God who created them!

They have been known historically to prove the downfall of many a nation and its civilization.
They literally kill off a country by ageing it.
In real terms, they do not create children, only take from others.

If everybody turned to their 'creed' the world would literally die in the next generation!!

They were the destructive backbone of Sodom and Gomorrah [destroyed by God], and they will yet prove the great cause towards the anihilation of the Western future!!!

"and they will yet prove the great cause towards the anihilation of the Western future!!!"

Wow. There was me thinking that accolade belongs to Bush and Blair.

I have a spine and I can say that people who sit around on websites all day preaching hate have no place in "our culture", whatever the hell you mean by that.

If you are American - what culture???
If you are European let's scrap St Peter's Dome and the Sistine Chapel in Rome (among lots other things), the guy who conceived that was gay. I don't suppose the name would mena anything to you.
If you are Muslim, then you don;t need any backbone for that statement anyway.

I have a few friends that are gay. I tell them I don't agree with their lifestyle, but I still value them as people, & recognise that they have a place in our society.
Oh, and I have plenty of spine!

I accept gay people in this society just as I accept adulterers, criminals, etc.

Love your enemies like you love yourself.

I will not accept gay marriage because why does this society want to set the precedent for gay marriage?

Gays have the right to be gay, AMERICA IS A FREE COUNTRY.

I don't mind gay people being gay, I just don't want it in my face all the time.
