Granola has been around for centuries before Republicans and will be around for centuries after they're gone. Republicans in general aren't happy unless they're making fun of someone else for something. This seems to be because most of them either have some sort of self-esteem issues or lack the ability to enjoy life themselves - so they try to bring something or someone else down to make themselves feel better. It's not granola fault. Some Republican probably just saw a "hippie" eating a bowl at some time and labeled it as a "traitor" or a "liberal" or something. The "hippie" could have just as easily been drinking a cup of coffee and that would have become evil too.

Granola is unhealthy and fattening...
But, go eat the pig. Oh yeah, that is very healthy and virtually fat-free. wtf?
I love granola. In fact, I eating it this morning and surprised to find out it's liberal side notes. Love it with my vanilla soy milk...take your pig and your cow republicans I don't need your farms! lol :)) *joke guys*

I like Granola, I didn't realize it was high in fat and Carbs though, I better stick to Beef and Chicken.

Actually, I kinda make fun of granola - but I do occasionally eat it - and it is good.

What dukalink6000 posted. It's associated with hippies, so it's bad. It's more a talk radio talking point than anything else. If you wanted to stereotype the talk radio audience the same way you could make remarks about chewing tobacco.

Hippies eat it, so it is bad.
A real man eats bacon and eggs, not some tree-hugging crap like that! Savagely tearing apart pig and chicken. And throw some sausages in that as well!
(Granola can get rather fattening, so limit your intake)
