i'm a hispanic, relatives and friends of my father live in usa illegally, they work they go to restaurants they go to stores, they go to night school, they get library memberships and the ones who own all these places don't even complain. so, what's this "ILLEGAL" term. they are not illegal if they can do everything. They are not illegal face it. government is the one complaining but they let them do all kinds of stuff. so just be quiet . a relative just came here recently.. enrolled in english school got his new library membership yesterday and is living like a resident.

I see on here that people say that they will be in the majority soon and then things will change. What change is that ?If you dont like it here the way it is why do you come here and what are you going to change?

They keep ranting stuff like "Speak American" (whatever that means), "This is America, not Mexico" (sic/k) "You bean-ers are taking our jobs away" and similar nonsense....

And they're lazy mobile-home turds who at best work in a lame cubicle in a foul-smelling government office, or serve fries at McDonald's.

They're soooooo transparent. I pity their lost souls.

Better luck next time (you're reborn)

the issue in civility rather than name calling? If you can't win an arguement because you are wrong, be ethical and admit you are wrong. None of this Yahoo stuff will change anything. What are you afraid of? The Truth?

I got an email last week from a young woman from Russia. She has been telling me about her life at home and is planning a three month trip to the US to work, and hopefully find she can move permanently. Says it would be great to know someone to show her around.

Now she is asking if she could stay at my place.

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone here? any stories on the news or in emails warning people of this?

the illegal immigrants seem to see breaking the law is no big deal. This is very hard for most of us in the U S A to understand, most of us grow up learning to respect the law, and laws. But it seems that for most coming from Mexico, that breaking the law is just a way of life. So I wish someone could tell, why ?

he is deployed overseas in Iraq and fell in love with a girl whom he met over the internet on myspace. I know she is not a citizen, can he still marry her? is that even possible? Will they be allowed to marry there and if they are, is it considered legal? Or can he bring her back here and marry here in the states and would that be legal? This is driving me nuts. Most of you are probably asking why it does, but we have a 5 year old daughter involved whom i do not want to see get hurt.

it has been apparent to anyone for years, with an iq above 1...that immigrants have never wished to intergrate and live the british way of life,,,they wish to bring their way of life over here, their own laws hence they all tend to live in a particular place, together.there are some immigrants here for forty years and still speak no english.Yet still parliament has closed its eyes to where this self segregation will eventually lead to trouble,Brits are leaving almost at the same rate immigrants are coming in....wake up Blair....and no i am not being racist.

loud illegal alien music, the problem is that we have a Nazi Skinhead teenager neighboor who has been harrasing them, yelling racial profanities at them from afar, I talk to him and told him to stop, he also knows the date when they will be finishing the job, and he promises to call the INS, I cant say for certain that they are illegals but all indications tell me they are. What should I do, should I report a hate crime so that my neighboor gets reprimanded before he creates a scene at our house if he does call the INS

i suggest the US govt sponsor an aggressive attack and protect our borders by contracting man-eating crocodiles and place them all along the river border of Texas and then build trenches from New Mexico to Cali and add water and these crocs. with this, they will think twice about coming over. what do yout think?

Illegals immigrants working at airport arrested

By Mary Lou Pickel
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
Published on: 12/05/06
Federal immigration agents arrested six illegal immigrants Wednesday who had security badges that gave them access to restricted areas of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, including the tarmac.

The immigrants, all of Mexico, worked installing drywall for T.C. Drywall, Inc. of Alpharetta, according to a statement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

None of the men was considered a security threat.

ICE continues to investigate the circumstances of the immigrants' employment and possession of the restricted access badges, ICE spokesman Marc Raimondi said. The six likely will be deported to Mexico.

The arrests are a part of ICE's "critical infrastructure worksite" focus on facilities such as airports, power plants, oil refineries and military bases. The goal is to protect against the risk of terrorism posed by unauthorized individuals working in secure areas.

"Hartsfield-Jackson International is one of the busiest airports in the country," said Kenneth Smith, special agent-in-charge of the ICE Office of Investigations in Atlanta. "These facilities must know that the people who have access to their sensitive areas are entitled to such access."

The men were arrested early Wednesday in Hartsfield's south terminal, said Smith.

They were on their way to work, he said
