Traditionally, taxes are raised during wartime to pay for the war. In WWII they even had things like rubber and sugar rations. This makes sense because war costs more then the usual spending the government does. But Bush was the first president to lower taxes during a war.

Would you support a tax increase, if the extra money went directly to paying for the war? The war so far has been paid on credit, so we would need to pay-back what has been spent so far too.

Ok, basically all we have to do is write a 4-6 page paper on one supreme court case from the past fifty years that I think was decided wrongly. I have to write a convincing argument to explain why the Supreme's Court's decision was incorrect. I must base my reasons on Constitutional arguments, precedents, and history.

I am not asking you guys to write this for me, but I was wondering what would be the best supreme court case to pick? As in, what case would have the most available resources and easier to write a lot on.

There is no end game to a war on terror. It is the perfect excuse for those who want to dismantle the constitution and curtail our civil rights. Our current president hates criticism and dissent. He has a thin skin. This is the perfect pretext to stifle dissent.
