he has an easy act to follow, so i think he would be judged favorably

Let's not be too quick to give a difinative yes or no to this question as we must evaluate several factors. We must consider his accomplishments thus far and those that he has proposed to undertake. Secondly we must also consider his values- what are the core principles surrounding his character. Once we can answer those, and of course many more that will come, as he is in fact rather young on the politcal scene, then we can judge wheter or not he will infact make a good president. Good presidents are not born or made, I beleive they simply present themselves in a quest to achieve a greater good.

no and not vp either. even sharpton refuses to endorse him for lack of experience.george bush had no experience. we knew that when we elected him. we didn't think it mattered. Hussein is a polished speaker and that is it. Only two in the whole mix would i consider, that would be Hilliary and McCain. Hope to have that choice in a few months. What I will do then depends a lot on Iraq situation. On the domestic scene, Hillary wins hands down. In escalating war, it is McCain hands down. I dunno. Hussein is spinning his wheels and provides a red herring for Hilliary. If she chooses himj as a running mate, I would probably drop her off my list. No Nussein Lomobama.

No because a good president should be color blind, loyal to the United States of America, the Constitution of the United States of America and should be friend of the law and obey the laws. The fact that he has done drugs shows that he doesn't obey the law. Additionally, since he has come out in favor of illegal aliens and giving illegal aliens pathways to citizenship, he is not loyal.

If he considered himself "African American" then he is not a true American and couldn't be trusted to do the job. He can be a black american and be loyal, but he can't be African American and be considered loyal because he puts another country in front of American. Talk about political correctness------!!!!

It's unclear. The man, nice as he may be, has almost no record on which to judge him.

Right now, the only thing we know about him is that he's a Democrat, and a Liberal. That doesn't make me feel too good about him, personally, but others surely feel differently.

NO...NO...N0...People wake up. This man's father was a Muslim from Kenya. His mother was an atheist. He was raised by a radical Muslim step-father from Indonesia. He was educated in a Wahhabi Muslim School in Jakarta. Wahhabism is the most extreme form of Islam there is (note: The Taliban) Do you want to turn over our country to this man???? Everyone needs to show some sense here.

No. His entire platform is not telling the public what he's really about, his plans for the future, or any sense of who he is (except a "minority who made it"). But, by God, he sounds good giving out his fluff, so everybody will vote for him.

How can you not like someone who sounds so good? He's going for the general public by not showing what his true agenda is, except racial equality with some (hidden) extreme liberal undertones. He would definitely get the popular vote. As for his actual political agenda, I would say he could run this country into the ground faster than Pelosi.

He looks good, sounds good, but he's the one we have to watch out for. The public needs to know what he's actually about.

Factor out his skin color. Forget he's part black.

Now. Why would he make a good President? Does anyone know? Can anyone answer this without mentioning the fact he's part black?

I don't think so.

I don't think he would make a good president -- YET. He needs a little more time in the Senate. He needs to wrestle a little longer with this country's problems.
