The British Government has seriously lost sight of it's purpose , they sit there bickering like school kids over marbles on every issue until the press decides what it wants and then they all jump on the band wagon claiming it was thier idea and hoping to look good .

Surely in the present political climate that all parties should be united in finding solutions to the countries catastrophic problems .

Here's my suggestion ;

All MP's should be given perhap's 6 months to come up with individual solution's to the countries most pressing problems i,e, terrorism , NHS , fuel shortages , etc .

each should then be asked to study all suggested solution's and and submit the one they believe most likely to succeed . the solution which returns the highest number then becomes the responsibility of all gov to make it work .

All we need then is a Prime Minister that commands respect from the whole world to fight our corner on an international scale .

Prince Charles would get my vote

I'm appalled to read literally hundreds of answers which continually praise George Bush stating 'he's doing a great job despite the circumstances'. What planet do you live on? It's almost like the situation with these extremists, they get brain washed just like you seem to be brainwashed by the american media.

I can't understand how so many americans support George Bush. Have you ever seen George Bush Speak without a prepared speech? Have you even looked on the net (where there is no bias) to actually see what your president has acheived? How can a country as free and as 'liberal' as America be so ignorant of reality. I live in the UK (and don't worry, i expect the *usual* f*ck off, why do you care, retard, answers) where seriously most people think George bush is a moron. We have TV shows which depict him as an idiot! What we see is a bumbling fool masquerading as president!

This american site has a few facts about the great Dubya

Note: If you accept that many of the GOP Conservative Fundamentalist are from rural regions, and logically, many of them are Farmers, and then you add to this their chronic diatribe against welfare, then this has to raise a few eyebrows. If it is all about “self-reliance” and “Individual Responsibility” and “Ownership” and, of course, “lower taxes” then why should the Senate of the United States be passing out welfare checks to the farmers? These big strong men can do it “all on their own” and “a country boy can survive” then I suggest we let them, on their own, with no help from the Federal Government. If they fold … too bad. We are just playing by their own rules.

Truth is simple: They can’t survive without dipping into the Federal Coffers; they just don’t want you and me in the city to have a share of the Tax dollars.

75 professors across the states have critically analysed the collapse of the WTC's and conclude that its impossible for a plane flown by someone from afghanistan to cause the towers to collapse in such a way. It could have only been bombs planted by the american government that would provide enough heat energy to deform the structure let alone there being insufficient fuel to burn.
It was all a plan so Bush had an excuse to go to war with Iraq, Afghanistan and support Israel - so he can get the oil. Bush is the real culprit. What is your opinion on this?

Iraq deaths multiply in new August count By I am not Bush, Associated Press Writer
14 minutes ago

BAGHDAD, Iraq - Baghdad recorded more than 1,500 violent deaths in August, according to final figures released by the Health Ministry this week — nearly three times the preliminary figure the same ministry had released last week. The figure is a sharp contradiction of U.S. and Iraqi claims that a security crackdown led to a steep drop in deaths in the capital. The USA should be ashamed for not being honest about Iraq.

Instead, the number of deaths in the capital in August was roughly the same as during July, before the U.S.-led security crackdown began, the Health Ministry officials said. Most likely one of the reasons the war is going badly is due to the lack of troops. This so called war will end up like Vietnam.

It wasn't enough for the media and back benchers to force Thatcher out in 1990, and then for John Major to resign in his put up or shut-up campaign, Iain Duncan Smith to be replaced by Michael Howard, Charles Kennedy to resign and go into hiding and now Tony Blair is facing the same situation.

Isn't it time the media were given some of their own treatment?

George joined the Labour Party when he was 13 years old. He was ousted from the Party on Blair`s orders. Due to his stand on the Iraq war.

George forecasted prior to the assault on Iraq what the outcome would be. The past three years has proven George to be right.

As Chancellor, Gordon Brown has supported Tony Blair from the beginning.

He is the one who has acrued the financial resources that has funded the ongoing debacle in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has signed the cheques.

By the standards of Nuremburg and the Geneva Convention, he is complicit in the War Crimes of which Blair is guilty [as many of Blair`s cabinet past and present are].

To some who shower us with their infinite wisdom on this forum, absolutely none. A yard gnome is just as ideologically driven, religiously devoted. He is just as capable of inflicting millions of dollars of loss and hundreds if not thousands of deaths. He is just as capable of operating and financing independent terrorist cells of other yard gnomes.

And the only reason he doesn't have a nuclear weapon yet is because his brain is just too small to grasp nuclear fission.

So, the next time he trips you on the way out the door, remember! It was an act of terrorism!
