Wars erupt to settle differences of opinion between two countries as in the Middle East.
A civil war erupts between two groups of people within the same country as in Iraq caused mainly because of American invasion of that country which has terribly gone wrong - yet another Vietnam!
Wars erupt also to test the new weapons as in some of the conflicts USA was involved in the last century.
Wars may erupt because leaders of some countries are stubborn and go crazy, as with President Bush and North Korean leader Kim Jon Ill (also known as Mentally Ill)!
Wars erupt because people kidnap people from another country as in Middle East.
Wars erupt because people in some parts of a country want to establish a separate state as in Sri Lanka and lately Pakistan.
So, you can see wars may erupt for various reasons.
In fact, with conflicts persisting in many pockets of the world, there is every chance of a Third World War breaking out sooner or later!

It is for economical reasons .The Germans and the Japanese had vast numbers of their populations unemployed before the
last World War and were running short of natural resources so this is why embarked on finding more The easiest way in their eyes
was to attack military weaker Country's and this would also bring full employment for them .
The Americans invade Country's [The reasons they give is to fight war on terrorism ]
But I personally con cider that Oil has played a big part in their actions .

Armies aren`t always only for defending a country. An army can show power not only to defend but to attack. And power is the real reason for all wars may it be economical power, political power. That`s why wars erupt

Not all countries build armies only for defense. Some use their armies to subjugate their people and threaten other countries

It depends on which side you are asking. The side building the army says its for defence. The other says its for offense so they attack to prevent an attack on them.
Also don't forget to throw in economics, religion, and racism as other factors for wars.

For the most part it is Control
Control people - through governments(e.g. communism) or religion (e.g.Islam)
Control Land - Some one want a particular piece of property
Control Resources - Someone needs something (e.g. Oil)
Of course there is the revenge angle too. I cannot fathom how some groups can hold a grudge for centuries but some do.

i'd distinctly a lot accept as true with what you reported; intelligence sharing and air help, perchance some militia advisers or some thing. sending floor troops ought to turn it into yet another Vietnam, even though it truly is in our maximum acceptable pastimes that Colombia would win a became adverse to Venezuala
