I understand the government told yahoo to shuit down messenger. Is anyone else out there tired of the governments interference with their lives? The excuse is that their were reasons of national security, because "terrorists" might use it. Like they couldnt use aol, msn, or any number of other means of communications to accomplish their "so called " goals, if they actually exist. The truth is that the government is installing software designed to snoop the messenger service, so that they might track what you say on it. Lets face it, whoever owns the net owns the United States, because most money transferes happen online now, and news as well as information is broadcast over it as well. They seek to limit, as well as censor internet content, to stop us from telling others what we see and hear, or feel, so that dissension is kept to a minimum, and news and information is kept from the public.

Thousands of Americans insisted on going to Lebanon although our State Department had repeatedly warned them of the dangers in that country. Now that they get caught in the crossfire they screamed to be rescued and blamed the state department for their inconvenience and of not rescuing them fast enough. You hear nothing but whinning and bickering about every little thing from some people who expected us the taxpayers to reimburse them for their air fares home. Many refused to leave and if they get hurt it's the US government's fault.

There is reason to believe that IRAQ is hacking the us military computers. The US fears that military chatting back home with family and friends could easily leak out sensative information that IRAQ is looking for. so for everyones safety untill further notice yahoo messenger has been shut down.

If one lives here and enjoys the freedom we have to spew forth all kinds of abuse of the USA and express great hostility and disloyalty why do they stay. Will they be happier when the terrorists, a Saddam or a Hitler take over? They may then have to and learn to keep their hatred to themselves and appreciate all that we had and have lost due to their disloyalty & hatred.

If you're sent on an undercover mission by your government(I don't know what country you're from, but we ARE watching you)..and you're told that it's a 'mission impossible', are you determined to complete that mission? Even if the consequences mean a nuclear conflagration that might mean the end of the known world.Or,do you say 'bollocks to this' ,resign ,and go and work in Debenhams on the gents outfitting department.YES,I know it's a tricky one, think about it,then get back to me.No codes tho,my decifering machine is knackered.
