Unless your state has adopted some very strange laws, no. The only thing that can change is that you can be redistricted, and they'll just send you a new one in that case.

In Georgia, though, the card is unnecessary for anything except telling you what elections you vote in, and where you vote. It may be different in other states.

yes, your voter's registration is no longer valid 30 days after you move to a new county, or after you have your name changed.
if you have not voted in a while, you may be asked to show up to two forms of i.d. at the polls, but you'll still be able to vote. basically, it doesnt' matter if you have a registration card as long as you can prove that you live within the presinct you are trying to vote in. If you're not sure about your presinct you can call your county clerk's office to find out.. and you can renew (or get a new) voter's registration card at your local library. I'd recommend bringing a couple bills or letters along with your i.d.'s on election day and if you're in the wrong presinct, the election judges can look it up for you.. good luck

Registrations have to be redone if you change addresses. Your moving into a different ward or division. I live in the 46th ward 13th Div. Walk 2 block and your in the 47th. They have diferent representives & polling places. Also voter rolls are purged every 5 years or so. All voters who are dead or have not voted in any election in 4 years are removed from the rolls.

Apparently your right to vote can be challenged. Also, if you receive a felony in some states, your voting rights are automatically revoked.

Also, the district you vote in might change, even if you don't move, and your card wouldn't be good at that particular polling place. You'd have to get a new card.

They do not expire but they can become invalid if you move into another district. They are invalid if you move into another city or state. The use need to apply for a new one for the district you are living in.

In most states, if you don't vote for three consecutive national elections they'll cancel your registration.

Also, if you move, and don't update your registration, it'll become void.

Depends on the state or county of registration.

if you move, its no good. if you dont tell them about a name change w/in 90 days. if you fail to vote in 2 consecutive Pres elections. if you commit any type of felony, you will never vote.

It does not "expire", however, it is invalid if you become a felon or if you relocate and do not register, if you renounce your citizenship in this country...those kinds of things.
