Next time I will vote for whoever runs and is good friend with Beyonce. I don't care if he or she is Hispanic, doesn't speak a word of English wants to raise my taxes by 25% and never went past 8th grade.
Isn't this the message some Oprah followers are giving us today? only supporting Obama because miss Oprah endosed him? What if Oprah was the best at what she does but completly sucks at politics and finding the best candidate? Are you going to have another messed up election because our voting population is star struck?

In most cities that have a black mayor, there seems to be a black entourage with them all the time. If Obama is elected do you think he will have a black entourage surrounding him? Will his appointed staff be mostly black?

Giuliani has claimed that the reason he assigned a city paid chauffer and lemo to his mistress was because she was receiving death threats. Were the threats from Giuliani’s wife? Don’t laugh. He is the Republican [party’s leading candidate for the presidency, At least it was a woman. Doesn’t it make you proud.

I have often seen elections where many more people vote for one office than votes cast for other offices. This is true even though some people may only be voting for the less interesting contest. Would it be a great embarrassment that so many people do not care for either choice?

If you've been following the news, you know that Oprah is stumping for Obama in a number of Midwestern cities where she has a strong following. Sell-out crowds of 30,000+ people are showing up with, what the news reporters are calling, "revival-like enthusiasm", to come see Oprah and to listen to the candidate she is promoting.

Is it Obama they are coming to see? Or Oprah? If you like Oprah, are you automatically inclined to vote for Obama?

Oprah is female. Many thought she would back Hillary. Oprah is also black. But she has made her choice now and is backing Obama.

But might her orchestrating these sell-out crowds and stumping for Obama be a cleverly disguised way to pave the way for her OWN run at politics, either at a lesser level, or even for the office of the Presidency in 2016, assuming Obama wins in 2008, is re-elected in 2012, and he passes the baton to the one most responsible for his success, i.e. Oprah?

Oprah is 53 now. She'll be 61 in 2016, FYI.

He appeared in three major articles in my local paper yesterday. This morning he was on NBC so I flipped to CBS and there he was again. He often makes Yahoo's front page. Sometimes I feel the other candidates are ignored, particularly if they are Republican.

Why do you think the media is pretending he's the only viable candidate? Why does it worship him?

When Hillary takes off the gloves and gives Oprah one upside the head, will Oprah be crying, "Help me. I've fallen and I can't get up"?

I can't wait for this fight.

I know that this is not politically correct to point out the issues of sex or race, i.e. that one is only supposed to consider the person's character, their record, their leadership skills, and their platform or stance on the issues. But let's face it. Sex & Race are on a lot of people's minds as they consider our Presidential candidates. Millions of people's minds, actually.

And I'm not going to even try to separate the question of sex or racial heritage from the candidate. One is a black (half black, whatever) male. The other is a white female. If either one becomes President, you know they will claim this as a HUGE, precident-setting VICTORY for either their gender, or their race. (But in the mean time, we're not supposed to think about those things now, right?)

So Republicans, Democrats, Independants, Libertarians, Centrists, and any other political affiliation you might call your own...I ask you: If you had to choose between only these two for Pres., who would it be?

I know a lot of people like her for more than that, but to me it just seems that women want a women president, and they'll vote for any woman the runs. Personally, I like Obama, and a lot of people are suprised cause i'm white and he's black. ....Seriously, what the heck? Are people just voting for Obama because he's black? I actually know what he wants to do and I like it. Ok this is long.
