I don't because I'm not ignorant. That just shows what this Country has come to. If you aren't going to vote for someone it should be because you think that they are not going to help our country, not because you don't like their name. I am not voting for him because in the Democratic debates he comes off as too inexperienced for me after listening to what he had to say; however, I would support him if he was chosen as the vice president.

I will not vote for him no matter what. It is not because of his name it is because of his total lack of experience. He has only been in the Senate for 2 years and has yet to do anything other than campaign. He is on the wrong side of many of the issues that I am concerned with. I think he is an intelligent person but his total lack of experience is the main reason not to vote for him.

If he changed his name would you vote for him? I hope you are not picking a president because of their name. Now I understand how George Bush got elected for two terms. People like the name George.
Maybe they should bring back the IQ test for voters!

If you decide your vote on something as superficial as someone's given name/ race / gender you should stay home and not vote at all.

It really does worry me that people could be so ignorant and thick-headed to think someone's name/race should determine their presidency.

i don't, you people who do are possibly racists, and if not racist, prejudice for sure. i say this because you are judging him based on his name and that isn't right. Get to know his views and see if he'd be a good candidate. People like you and the first poster make this world worse.

Actually, his full name is Barak Hussein Obama.

Not only does his last name rhyme with Osama, but his middle name is Hussein! That's unfortunate for him.
