Any person running for the highest office in this land, who will
not pay proper respect to this Nations flag or this nations
national anthem doe's not need apply for the job,, This country
was founded on traditions and honoring those who gave there lives to carry on these traditions. To stand idle and not participate in the saluting of our flag or honoring our National
anthem puts Obama in a Not to trust position,

Obama salutes the flag. there has been a relatively-used photograph, snapped at a 2d whilst he wasn't saluting yet others have been. Who knows what exchange into happening - yet that's no longer a undemanding prepare of his. So do no longer situation approximately it. Spend time on greater significant subject concerns to think of approximately interior the elections. some people do no longer even understand the names of their US Senators and Representatives!

When did he not salute the flag, he did not have his hand over his heart during the national anthem, big deal. Go to any sporting event and half the crowd wont. I think you are making to much out of shallow patriotism as opposed to real acts, anyone can go thru the gestures proves nothing, and last I heard we were still free. Or has King George made it a law to salute. And for the record I myself do salute and place my hand over heart during national anthem but it is my personal free choice

Not a big deal, Romney's a Mormon...so what? Who cares? Kennedy was a Catholic...so what? I don't salute the flag either. Look at the values we seem to have in America today. We're not trying to fix the huge problems of racism and discrimination we have, we want to build a freakin fence to isolate us for other parts of the world i.e Mexico, our education system sucks, and on top of it all we kill innocent people every single day. I for one don't blame anybody for not wanting to salute to the flag.

No... who cares? It's just a flag in my personal opinion. The flag is not what matters, but rather what he can do to help. Just because he doesn't salute a piece of fabric doesn't mean he isn't proud of this country, so to speak. That's like saying a Christian isn't Christian if they don't go to church. It's all what's in your mind and your heart.

From the photo you are referencing, what is the problem?
The star spangled banner is playing, not the flag pledge.
Proper etiquette is to salute, if a service member, right hand over your heart, or hand to the side.
This is a fabricated controversy, unlike those hitting Mittens, Ghouliani, and "What the Huck?".

Well, in the land of the free, i guess he is stating the obvious , he wants to be free from having to salute the flag, and he wants to be free to run for president !
This is what most politics are about. So all voters should be free to exercise their choice not to vote for him.

that is why he will never be president here if you cant salute the American flag there is no reason to be here. So he can go back to his own country if he cant go by the American way.

I don't think he's refused to salute. He's merely chosen not to wear a lapel pin.
I think I know why. (haven't confirmed, just a guess) I think he feels that gestures like that have been tainted by the (far too numerous) people who wave the flag without understanding that patriotism must have some sincerity behind it.
And I agree with him.

Yes, I am worried about it. Frankly, though, I am not too excited about any of the canidates anyway. He is, at least, a better choice than Hillary for sure. I just hope people get out and vote after they research the best choice. It reflects very poorly on our country when we have the chance to vote and a lot of people don't. Pretty sad when the majority of voters are over 60! What's wrong with all of us younger folks that don't vote!? There is no excuse-it is your right and privledge.
