Ron Paul is the only one that stands out so far - but I don't think he has a chance of getting elected.

Far too intelligent for the majority of Americans.

would you register as something other than bi-partisan? Just curious as to how many people might have affiliations other than the two we're given.

What will be the most important issue for you when voting for President of the United States of America in 2008? Would you say your childrens education is important? Democracy in Iraq? or Improving the American Economy?

This loser believes America is responsible for the fanatical hatred of the Islamic radicals that attacked us. He blames us because we put bases in the Middle East at the bequest of several governments (Kuwaitt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman). His blaming America first for trying to do good in a difficult region is pathetic and very libertarian isolationist - not conservative. Conservatives believe in free trade, capitalism and this loser wants us to hide in our shell and wait for the extremist of the world to attack.

...or a top star from WWF Wrestlemania would make an excellent Vice Presidential candidate.

The southern, rural, and urban bubbas, jethros, and ellie mays would once again be solidly in the pockets of the Republican party. ... Add to this the voter blocks of better-than-thou christians, plus the wild-eyed, my baby is my weapon, Ted Nugents ... and the Republican party could be back to pre-screwed-up-the-whole-country strength.

Everyone, including Republicans, I have talked to who have really listened to the speeches and interviews of Dennis Kucinich think he really does make a lot of sense. The crowds of people listening to his speeches always give roaring applause and standing ovations. The top tier candidates ignore the fact that some of their bright new ideas have been Kucinich's ideas all along. Even Bill Clinton, in an interview, went to great pains to list all the Dem candidates except Kucinich. Kucinich is the only candidate who has the guts to go on Fox News when the others don't dare. The media and other candidates say there is no way to pull out our troops from Iraq without leaving the civilians unprotected but Kucinich has a well thought out plan to replace our troops with Mid Eastern peace keeping troops that he worked out with the ambassadors and leaders of the surrounding countries. The only problem is that Halliburton and the big American oil companies would get nothing.

That seems unamerican, that you might have to join the Union to have the job, then they can turn around and donate part of your Union dues to candidates - usually democrats - that you would not support or vote for. Does that happen?

I think that would not be a good idea.

Arnold Schwarzenegger wants to be president, and he might be an ok guy, but we can't change our law, it's there for a reason.

If Russia said that they will get us from within, then I hope Congress will think before changing our laws that could allow that to happen.

Has anyone besides myself ever noticed that the 3 major networks have young, good looking women (and in one case a young good looking man) coveiring Clinton's and Obama but they have old farts covering the Republican candidates.

Is this a concerted effort by the network or am I just overly sensative to the the networks trying to manipulate people's concepts of the candidates?

...shrinkage of federal government in terms of personnel & expense? Any of them promoting private education to replace our failed public education system/department?? Do any of them have any agenda to strengthen our dollar & curtail the debt based financial system that has devalued American's standard of living??? Do any of these three candidates running for the office of our commander in chief have any meaningful agenda at all but more of the same as usual & their own personal desires???? For me, I have noticed precious little difference between our current administration & the preceding two administrations. Will any of the three candidates mentioned in this post, if elected, be busy getting America back onto track regarding true constitutional representation????? Do you as an American truly feel that any of these three candidates have yours & your loved ones best interest at heart as their main reason for running for office? If not, do you of a current candidate that does?
