I like John McCain - he seems like an honest, straight-up kind of guy who tells you what he thinks, rather than what he thinks you want to hear. That's rare in a politician. But his campaign staff is jumping ship, and he seems stalled.
I'm curious about Fred Thompson, but I don't know a lot about him. If/when he announces, I hope to hear and see a lot more of him.

I'm not a Republican, so I like Fred Thompson if his young trophy wife continues to show all of that cleavage as well as the fact Fred will be dead by October, 2008 if he tries to work at trying to become President, otherwise, he'll get clobbered spewing the extreme right wing garbage.

Still! Obama. He is the only presidential candidate above Edwards and Biden that represents strength and has the where-with-all to speak to the issues with a bit of charisma that relates to the People of the country. I would like to see Obama with Edwards or Biden on the ticket.

Newt G.
~ proven leadership experience
~ PHD in history
~ More integrity than any of the current front runners
~ Plain spoken and honest
~ Newt understands what it means to be conservative (in the Reagan sense)
Sorry guys but the only place Ron Paul stands a chance of winning an election is on the Internet.

Lord Voldemort. He will continue our great policies of military imperialism in Iraq and won't pussyfoot around with illegals and blacks and muggles like Bush does. He will just execute them. And for good measure, He will make the gas prices go so much further up that going to the pumps will feel like the cruciatus curse to all these worthless libs.
...Me; Sarcastic-?! Just trying to put myself in the mindset of a Republican...

Fred Thompson; he is a great mix between Raegan and Goldwater, and the only true traditional conservative running.

As far as character, I go for Fred...even though there is no "official" announcement yet. I really don't have a candidate yet. If/when Fred announces then I will do my homework.
WILL NOT VOTE DEMOCRAT IN '08!

Don Yarbourgh. He is experianced, true to his word, has a solid voting record, and...best of all...he has the third largest 'slush fund' of any Republican. Look for him to come on strong in December.

Rudy G. I understand he was the mayor of NY so in a time of war in the US he would be the one I would want directing the war. He has experience with 9/11 and has been through it all. He is also pro-life. and will be cutting taxes. Which means more $$$ in our paychecks. I believe he has great plans for America!
