Has anyone besides myself ever noticed that the 3 major networks have young, good looking women (and in one case a young good looking man) coveiring Clinton's and Obama but they have old farts covering the Republican candidates.
Is this a concerted effort by the network or am I just overly sensative to the the networks trying to manipulate people's concepts of the candidates?

That's not all they do, look at the lighting levels whenever they have a Rep. or a Dem.. The Rep. is almost always in a slightly darker lighting. I wonder why????

This is something I have not noticed. I watch MSNBC and when there is a report on candidates, one person makes the report. They don't switch reporters to cover different candidates, one person just reports what's going on in general. Later in the day, or in the evening you may see a different person reporting, but that's because it's their time slot. What stations do you watch that you see this happening?
EDIT: I just realized you are talking about CBS, NBC, and ABC, not a cable news channel. That explains it lol. The major networks farm out their reports to reporters who are out in the field. So if Clinton is campaigning in Idaho, they'll use an Idaho reporter to state what happened that day. Same with all the candidates. The networks use dedicated reporters from the areas where the candidates are at at any given time.
