...shrinkage of federal government in terms of personnel & expense? Any of them promoting private education to replace our failed public education system/department?? Do any of them have any agenda to strengthen our dollar & curtail the debt based financial system that has devalued American's standard of living??? Do any of these three candidates running for the office of our commander in chief have any meaningful agenda at all but more of the same as usual & their own personal desires???? For me, I have noticed precious little difference between our current administration & the preceding two administrations. Will any of the three candidates mentioned in this post, if elected, be busy getting America back onto track regarding true constitutional representation????? Do you as an American truly feel that any of these three candidates have yours & your loved ones best interest at heart as their main reason for running for office? If not, do you of a current candidate that does?

They don't. They talk about smaller government and securing our borders but nothing about the value of the dollar. It appears no candidate has taken care of this. They don't care. The debt is in trillions yet we still debate trivial issues, is all partisan hackery. Romney is a fake, Giuliani panders. The Democrats are just too much for nanny government. They are all the same, there is no difference! It amazes me that people don't realize that there is no difference at all between Democrats and Republicans. Where is the smaller government we were promised in '94? I don't see it, Republicans have lost their way and Democrats are getting more liberal. While our dollar is being devalued by the Euro, China is getting more powerful and we are in of the biggest deficits of the world! My choice is George Phillies, a libertarian running for the LP nomination. Is not the mainstream two-party candidate but they're all the same to me. I rather keep my conscience clean and vote libertarian this election year. I hope others would do the same.

Don't limit yourself to those three candidates.

While I lean conservative, you can look at Obama and Fred Thompson (to announce on Thursday) as two other candidates who have a real shot at winning the presidency.

Everyone else is really a long shot.

None of the candidate will be perfect.

Thompson will probably have the best plans for making large changes in government. I think he'll be a non-crazy version of Perot.

They have agendas, alright.

I doubt any of these matters are listed.

If we as citizens wish to have a functional educational, medical, economic or retirement system, I suggest we get busy and do it ourselves, like our ancestors did.

A nation governed by a bloated bureaucracy is a slave state, and the candidates are merely competing masters. Voting for "your preferred master" is a false freedom not worth having.

No to all you asked. And Giuliani and Clinton have plans to destroy America. Giuliani is absolutely pro-illegal (too late to change what he says, he has already disclosed what he believes) Clintoon has the same stance on illegal immigration, PLUS has an idiotic policy toward the war.

The biggest plus for Romney is that he does not believe in amnesty and is absolutely anti-illegal immigrant.

fang...you are out of your mind. First, the education system is a joke! It is not failing...it has failed!!!! Second, the "trickle down" economics of Reagan, Bush, and Bush have worked, increasing govt. tax rolls, but Congress goes on a spend fest every time. Reagan DOUBLED federal tax rolls, but Congress blew it!

yeah_but...simply put, Clintoon wants to open our borders and coddle terrorists...Throw in the idea that she would tax the he11 out of us, and much of our investment money would go overseas...THIS WOULD DESTROY AMERICA!

Get your facts right. U.S. public education is not now, nor has it ever been failing. The debt based financial system is the direct result of the failed "trickle down" economics of the Reagan, Bush and another Bush administrations. Of the three candidates mentioned, the only real change would come from Clinton.

well Hillary Clintonov is a socialist, she will raise taxes and increase the government, Giuliani has a track record over lowering taxes and downsizing government while increasing security. Ans Romney has a record of being a good fiscal manager so he too will downsize.

I think you are asking a lot of one person here. Basically it sounds like you want another FDR with tremendous vision and energy and talent to turn the country around.

Well good luck--I don't think we produce people of this calibre in politics anymore.
