An Arkansas legislator has filed a bill calling on other states to adopt a system of electing the president by popular vote. It is part of a nationwide campaign by a group trying to do away with the traditional role of the Electoral College. Do you think the president should be elected by popular vote?

Will women vote for her just so we can have a female president?

I am sure there are lots of women who oppose her. Myself included.
But I am wondering if Hillary will be the favorite of most women voters.

He is a Congressman from Texas but not the typical Neocon fascist type we have seen lately.

We still have a year + before a decision will be made on who will be next president and already they are mudslinging. Clinton & Obama, yada yada yada

How do you feel about all the money spent on campaigns? mudslinging?, all the mailers that end up in land fill?
Does it make you apathetic?

Just curious about the nay-sayers. More than likely most dems would vote for Hillary. Then out of the republicans, I would think more than a few women would cross party lines to vote for a woman (I would have voted for Condoleeza if she were running). And so what is left are republican men -- but what do you have against Hillary anyway? Is she any worse than any of the boring alternatives that your party has to offer. And she could fix up the economy (and probably take the blame for raising taxes too). So why wouldn't someone vote for her? She's obviously bright, and competent (check out her Senate page to see how much she's done while in office). Really, what would change your mind?

Personally I have no faith in any of the three parties, and I think there must be a genetic link with the blood of Tony Blair to Maggy Thatcher (perhaps he is a secret offspring), since he has no understanding of the real world. I can't wait to see the back of T.B.

At this point in time in our Country we have all races and sexes in all areas of the workplace and leadership roles.

I think the timing is perfect for a change in Goverment leadership as far as president. We have a lot of good canditates running but at this time we have a strong woman and a man with an African-American father with good fresh morals and ideas to get this country going again-

I noticed this question was asked recently, and I would like to ask it again but, please, only answers from them who support one or the other or both at this time.

If you had to choose today, Borack Obama or Hillary Clinton as President of America, who would you choose and why?

Elections seem to me to be all about charisma. Like Gore, Kerry chose to try so hard to make himself look smart and sophisticated, that he did not relate to the common person. It seems to be all about Charisma, nothing about issues. Can you name an election in recent history where the person with the least charisma won? Bush/Kerry, Bush/Gore, Clinton/Dole, Clinton/Bush, Bush/Dukakis, Reagan/Mondale, even way back to Kennedy/Nixon.
Think about it.

In my opinion, communism is dictatorship by definition; there is no gentle form of it because all ownership (i.e. power) is concentrated in the hands of one entity, even if it is initially perceived as a benevolent government. But that's just my opinion. I'm here to get yours, and if you are voting for him for other reasons, that's fine too.

Is it worth wasting all that money campaigning by the anyone besides Mitt, Rudy, McCain, Obama, Hillary, or Edwards. Has a "Dark Horse" candidate ever emerged and won?
