He is a Congressman from Texas but not the typical Neocon fascist type we have seen lately.

I think the first five answers shows why we will never be free again. No one really knows this guy. He is almost the opposite of Bush. He wants to do away with the Patriot Act and restore our civil liberties, yet people judge him based on the state he lives in or some other ignorance. We wonder why we only have idiots in power. Just look below.

He has my vote...and if he doesn't get the nomination as Republican, I REALLY hope he will at least still run as a Libertarian...he is the best man running so far...look at his voting record, it speaks for itself. He is what this country needs right now. A President that will uphold the oath to defend the Constitution. He may be "republican" but he should just be labeled a "Constitutionalist"!

Pro. I doubt "Congressman No" will get the nomination, but it would be nice to vote for a major party for a change.

Paul and Bush have little else in common beyond being Texans and belonging to the Republican party.

So far both presidents from Texas have gotten us involved in an unnecessary war. So I am not interested in any more Texans.
