Since 1952, New Hampshire has hosted the first Democrat and Republican Primary.

Candidates who won the NH primary who went on to be elected President :

1952 - Eisenhower
1956 - Eisenhower
1960 - John Kennedy
1964 - Lyndon Johnson
1968 - Richard Nixon
