What I mean is do you believe he will make it into office? I am african american and have peers and older people saying he would be good for the african american community but I am afraid that if he does go into office, then america will end up somewhere worse (in a vague sense) then it is now. Am I naive, insecure or foolish? And Please if you are a supremasist in anyway, please dont give me a biased answer.

Saying that Bush should clean up his mess before leaving office seems to hide her fear that Irak is too tough a situation for her to handle. Those are her words not mine.

We better stick with the Devil we know....

sorry i had to kind of shorten the question to make it fit and make sense...

if were several choices from each 'major' party on the presidential ballot each election day (in addition to so-called 'third' or 'fourth' parties) how would politics change?

would the major parties split into factions, or would their members unite together to keep hold of their political power? would they unite against other parties or each other? would smaller parties have a chance at all? would their be utter chaos, 'business as usual', or would a new system evolve rapidly? civil war?

here's another twist: keep the electoral college. if a candidate wins a state it's his (or hers) along with all its electoral votes. plurality (not majority) of electoral votes wins.

just curious if there's some way to tweak this idea to make it worth considering on some scale... what are your thoughts?

Will someone who is one of his constituents explain to me why JL fell from grace in his party? There must be more than a couple of good reasons?

I would like to have a presidential candidate in 2008 who is honest, has adequte experience, is not afraid to go against the grain and has limited party affiliations. Who fills this bill for you? I won't say who it is for me but his initials are JL. Would you vote for him considering who else is likely to run in 2008?

I think politicians should agree to go without a pay rise for 2 years this money could go into the national health system thay all have made a mess of, there possible 3% pay rise will be more than some of use earn, this would get the vote there all after perhaps we should develope a politicans debate/ diet -less money-less talk-more action A new plee from joe public where less will mean more.

Midterm elections are around the corner here in the Philippines... many politicians are hinting to run for the Senate or in any positions, be in the National or Local government.

would u vote for hilary clinton for president?

I think she just could win, she's strong, powerful, she doesn't appear to be emotional as men have stereotyped many women to be. I think she could get the vote. I honestly think she would be powerful enough to run the U.S. I have no doubt about her ability to run the U.S. I wish I were her, strong and powerful. That's the way women need to be.

I mean we know the polls don't mean a thing, when Republicans come out they come out in huge numbers. With Hillary and Obama in the picture, I can see the largest Republican turnout ever, even more than in '04. Do they have any "real" candidates that have a chance at winning?

I know that there is alot of banter and bashing about Bush on this forum, however Clinton wasn't a specimen of perfection by a long shot.
I would like to see the US move beyond the Bush and Clinton legacys all together.
