On the TV show "Commander-in-Chief," the President's husband was called "the First Gentleman." Now, you may not think Bill Clinton is a gentleman, but that's what they call each other on the floor of the House of Representatives: "The gentleman from (name of State)."

He'll be called First Gentleman. When they are introduced formally it will likely be Madame President and former President Clinton, or the President and First Gentlemen. Simple, and no, not really funny.
