Yes, only if she can separate herself from her husband past deeds. However she can use him for campaigning due to his skills as a speaker.
As for being a good president, she has had eight years experience watching her husband and what other candidate has this?
It is a good bet she can be president if she wins the Democratic nomination. I mean, who will vote for any Republican nominee after what Bush has done.

Despite the media and Hollywood hoopla, I don't think she is electable here in America. Hillary is a career politician, and before that, a lawyer. Americans typically have a disdain and a distrust for both. I do not think Hillary could win The Midwest, the Northwest, or the South. Plus, I think she will lose PA, which has been traditionally a "blue state."

I agree with Ed. Too many people don't like her politics or her demeanor, regardless of her gender.
People are so fed up with Bush and the Republicans that the Dems can practically walk away with the White House in 2008 IF they don't put up any divisive or controversial candidates, like Clinton or the black guy.
Even someone like Bill Richardson, who is a hispanic White could be risky because of his pro-illegal alien stance. The Dems need to think this one out carefully or they could end up handing the White House back to the Republicans.
People will vote for the devil they know rather than taking any chances.

You ask that question as if you doubt that women can be strong and capable. Yes they are. And for all the Hillary haters out there let me tell you she will be our next President. she will do a great job economically and hopefully she will appoint Bill as Secretary of State. I hear the jokes. He is very loved around the world.
And let us not forget he got a ********...but Bush just blows up people.

We don't know at this point so anything is possible.
I would not call her unemotional and she can get quite animated and passionate. She can be like a queen that shouts in Alice in Wonderland "Off with their heads" for any little offense. Recall when her husband was president she had 5 or six government employees fired for something she did not agree with. Fortunately they escaped her wonderland and were reinstated in their jobs.

hillary has the ability to run the White House. She has already done it for crying out loud! ! !
Does not mean she should however.
If she is in the White House again, it should be as a maid.

I don't think anybody considers it a gender issue. I oppose her forher questionable ideology. Also everybody seems to forget she was the first first lady under indictment for criminal activity. I believe there are many women better quaified to be president than her.

I hope. I doubt it. Our country is to divided for such a monumental step in world history to occur. My best wishes with Sen. Clinton as she pursues the White House.
