Gonzales was the President Bush's Attroney in the White House when he wrote the new rules on legal treatment of Prisoners of War. He called the stautes in the Geneva Convents quaint. He also wrote that the Geneva Convention does not rule the issue of how modern day detainee should be treated. Some have claimed that it was Gonzales' writings that lead to the torture of Prisoner of War through out Iraq and at Guantanomo Bay Prison. It has also been suggested that their is a lack of candor on this subject which could and maybe should lead to legal court action after Gonzale leaves Government.
Now we find him in Iraq schooling Government Officials like children on the issue of Rule of Law?
What next Rummy on caring deeply for the troops!

The principle hired an attorney to do work on freeing an estate, but the POA that was doing the work on it with the attorney had 2 quick claims drawn up so that the POA would own the property, had them noterized without the Principal being present and ended up with the land unknown until recently. The attorney never sent the principal any paper work on the transaction or copies, they were found out by accident by the new POA. Is the attorney accountable for not representing the principal and how about the notery public that didn't witness the principals signature?

I do admire the Insurgents due to the fact they are just rag tag men in blue jeans and tennis shoes and use basic weapons "and" they are giving the most powerful country in the world a big thumping day in and day out. That to me is amazing. But then again back in the 60s and 70s a group of men in black pajamas riding bicycles beat the crap out of the USA military and we lost Vietnam. Just like we will lose Iraq. We once again will go down in abject shame and then eat crow meat. Get ready to wear shame America!

UN humanitarian chief Jan Egeland says thousands of civilians are at risk in south Lebanon from unexploded cluster bombs dropped by Israeli forces in the last three days of the war against Hezbollah guerrillas.

Mr Egeland said today the UN Mine Action Co-ordination Centre had assessed "nearly 85 per cent of bombed areas in south Lebanon" and identified "359 separate cluster bomb strike locations that are contaminated with as many 100,000 unexploded bomblets".

Unlike members of the present administration Obama has integity and principles in abundence.

He's bright, has vision and integrity. HIs memoirs reveal him to be a man who could make America a country to be proud of once again. Respected worldwide and a Foreign Policy that would lead us to a more peaceful and safer world. He would be a president who would win the respect of the American people and lead an administration that was not in the pocket of the Arms Oil and Pharmecutical Industries. We all agree it's time for change. Do you think Obama could be the one to instigate that change?.

I have heard that the U.N. money is as much as 80% funded from U.S.. Then as we all know it really causes more problems then solves plus is very corrupt as well. If the U.S. stops contributing to it I think it would be a good thing and then money would go to a better use elsewhere. What say you.

These trips are mostly to help his republican brothers (not literal) keep their seats in the mid-term elections. In england tony blair (prime minister) flies on british airway, in order to say the british tax dollars. wouldn't it be proper of our leader to do the same? he spent the buget surplus clinton left on the war in afganistan, iraq, and the soon to come iran. Wouldn't it be smart of a money burning and war hungery president to save money for war and general pissing away. instead of blowing a million+ every time air force one leaves the ground.
