As long as private health care is still an option?

It's not like the U.S. can't afford it. We still spend more per capita on health than any other Western nation while we have the biggest economy too. Why can't we look at France (who has arguably the best healthcare in Europe) and improve on it and make it our own? Even Cuba has a higher world-wide quality of healthcare than we do...it's Cuba! I think America can do it.

So what is so wrong with it, ideologically or morally? How can you tell a child that he/she doesn't deserve health care because you think that is a socialistic program and better luck next time?

Okay first off my husband works as a truck driver. He delivers milk to Dominicks in Chicagoland area. In one of the Dominicks there was a patch of ice that he slipped and fell on and his back is hurt. His boss sent him to the doctor(don't know whats wrong yet as this just happened not to long ago.) Is this reasoning for a lawsuit against them if there is something wrong with my husband? And is so does anyne know any good lawyers in Chicagoland that could take this case up but not recieve anything until the lawsuit is over. My husband took picture(with his phone) of the patch of ice and the store # and location. He may be out of work too. He said it hurt to walk. Help Please............

I want to know why people complain about illegal immigrants "lowering wages" when many of those illegal immigrants get paid better than many legal citizens. The average illegal immigrant is not paid $12-15/hour...but some of them are! And they are not "skilled" laborers. The only advantage they have over low-income legal workers is that they aren't lazy!

Everyone follows laws that they have only heard of through word of mouth. For example, I have never seen the official document that says a 30 year old cannot have sex with a 14 year old, but I know that this is illegal. I know that it's illegal to drive drunk, but only because other people say it is. Suppose I want to be a responsible citizen and actually look up the laws for my city, state, and country (I'm in the U.S.). How do I do that?

I've seen a few people state that Iraq had broken the cease-fire agreement, and that justified our invasion of Iraq. Israel broke the cease-fire agreement it had made with Hezbollah a few days after it was made. Does this give Hezbollah the greenlight to continue it's aggressions towards Israel?
