There once was a very religious man; Some thought he was just super!
He ate sparingly and was very Fragile,
Many people called him a Mystic.
He never wore shoes and his feet were Calloused,
He was a vegetarian with very bad breath.

Sorry , I couldn't resist. I mean no offense. Ghandi was a great man and teacher. My favorite Ghandi quote: "If we took an eye for an eye, the world would soon be blind"

I II tihnk that Mahatma Gandhi was a world´s leader. He acted as a very important person. he had very goodo ideas of how people shpuld ha acted.

He was a simple man...with a purpose...for the benefit of his people & country, not himself (very obvious from the ways he dressed & talked). He believed in the 'anti-violence' as the best way to fight the injustice. Although he looked skinny & wore simple clothings, mentally he was very strong.
It is very rare to find such a person these days.

While he was quite radical in making some of his points, he was indeed a great man. If more men were like him, we would indeed live in a better world.
BTW, I loved Ben Kingsley in his role.

I never think of the guy at all outside as a historical personage. Not my religion.

i dont think he is such a great man . He could be great in others eyes but atleast not in mine.
