I love law but I am not sure being a lawyer is my thing...besides becoming a police officer what other things can you do in law? Or with a law degree?

when countries like Palenstine used a democratic election and voted in Hamas then we denounced them. We didn't like the outcome of that election so we don't recognize it as a democracy?

How do we get away with this hypocrisy?

Doesn't this make it clear that spreading democracy is an excuse for war-mongering?

The reason why I ask is because I work for this agency (confidentially), and they are involve in credit (hint hint), they had a training class full of 8 and now this is our last week, and if you dont meet their standards they feel they can fire you on the spot. I am one of two left now and they say if by tomorrow my accuracy is not up, then they cant use me.....what are my rights, what can I do, because when we origionally got hired, we did not know we would work in that specific arena nor did we know we could get fired for not passing a 8 day training with a 80%....they use to give people a month to catch on. I pressume they are fire happy.

There has been a saying Live by the sword die by the sword.

So if/when America is attacked again by terror because of you foriegn policy will you write it off as colataral dammage? The people dedicated to your destruction consider factory workers to be part of the US infrastructure that economically supports the military - the office worker etc.

You don't care about other countries victims why whine about your victims it's just war and "war is hell" right?

You have no empathy what moral high ground do you have to ask the wolrd to say anything more than oh well colataral dammage?

Live by the sword die by the sword their children don't matter to you why should yours matter to them?

If we knew an irreversible catastrophic change in earths environment was certain to happen in the future and that Humankind had ONLY two choices. Choice number one being we as humans do nothing, accept our fate and allow our species to perish forever OR the second choice, alter the genetics of humans to adapt to the new environment and guarantee the survival of humans? I'm thinking about working with law enforcement or protective services. That's why I want to know. Also, can the arrest record be pulled in other cities and counties? If you have no convictions, but have been arrested for felony, will it matter when you apply to work for the gov't or state???

his reason for not hiring me,

i called the district manager up, and he said that when i resigned, i didn't give proper notice.

however, the way i quit, was i asked him if i could talk with him, and i told him that i really needed some time to myself, and i asked him if i could quit, and he said i could.

he then said he'd go through the channels, and that I could work there again one day.

What he said over the phone however was that I didn't go through the proper channels, and that I didn't give 2 weeks notice.. but my problem is that I went straight to him, and he was the one that did the paperwork for me.

That just can't be legal!
