a Real American, what does that mean? I am a woman, plus I am not fleeing, I am just asking if conditions got so bad, and you had to flee, where you would go, considering you just have the 2 options.

Canada. Millions of Mexicans must be fleeing from Mexico for a very good reason.

if i was really in a hurry i would chose the one which is the nearest to me it doesn't matter which would it be just to be safe . however i do see the point of those who would ratter Canada instead of Mexico if they really had to flee , NO i don't :) .
however if i was given the option to go just for pleasure i would obviously choose Mexico , its beautiful beaches and women over the snow and the also beautiful Canadian women ( i am sorry for the Canadian women ) .
people from Mexico is very polite , smart and treat all tourist like real kings I'm not so sure i would get the same treatment from the Canadians although i don't think they would treat me bad either . people from Canada is very open minded and unlike America as a country people is very open minded about the rights of others such as the right homosexual to get married the right of abortion and pretty much an open mind about so many things , so even when i would prefer Mexico i do understand those who would choose Canada i guess they would like to live in a more open minded society which will accept them just as they are :) .

MEXICO
Reasons:
1.- If you flee to Canada, the long arm of US legal system can get you there, not in Mexico.
2.- Weather and nice places. Not just beaches about 20 nice cities to live, and Canada 3 or 4.
3.- Cheaper
4.- Get a job. Its easier for a US citizen to get a Job in Mexico that in Canada.
5.- Inmigration Laws, in Mexico the laws are more soft to new inmigrants.

Why flee? How would Canada or Mexico ever be better than the US? When will the ICE finally start making a big dent in all of this?
When is Mexico finally going to become self-supporting and stop this decades-long parasitism?

Mexico. It gets a terrible rap in the US, because for some reason we're afriend of brown people who speak a different language, but it's actually an incredible place. No, I'm not talking about border towns or beach resort towns, unfortunately that's all most Americans know. Mexico has free public health care, the most generous people on earth, and an extremely rich culture.

Fleeing America now that question might actually be FACT one day and not as ridiculous as it sounds......let's face it your military are getting themselves into some serious strife overseas, your ports are being sold to Arab nations and your government is on the verge of drafting.........To be honest I don't think either Canada or Mexico will be a safe place to hide if things start hotting up!

Depends as to why you are fleeing. If you want to see snow then pick Canada but if it's for a legal reason I think you'd better take Mexico Canadian laws are almost synonymous with the U.S. as are most non third world countries and extradition treaties abound.
