Today I was ordered to pay the defendant's attorney fees,but I wanna file an appeal as soon as it is filed in the court record.My question is do I have to pay the defendants attorney fees while the appeal is in process cause im ordered to pay the first of sept.

You should be able to stay any part of the judgment against you, pending your appeal, meaning you don't have to pay your judgment unless and until your appeal is decided. This should include the defendant's attorney's fees, because if you win your appeal, you might get that part overturned as well. This ight require you to establish a bind. You will find out if you need to do that when you file your appeal.

Usually you do unless you ask in a motion for reconsideration that it be held in abeyance until resolved! You have a very limited time to appeal the decision. Usually it is 10 working days!
This sounds like a civil case.
It is like many where the jury awards multi million dollar settlements that you see in the news. What isn't reported that most are knocked down to almost nothing!

You need an attorney to work that out. An attorney can get that postponed because that was part of sentencing. It will eventually be up to the judge to make the choice.

Well if you dont want it to eventually be reported on your credit report then pay it. I think it takes a while for that but file your paper work ASAP! You should find out if you can do jail time for not paying.
