granted Bush doesn't directly kill anyone

A lot of Iraqis had it really good before the first war.

Immagine being kept under santions for 10 years then being invaded. Economy crippled and your president telling you it's Chinas fault. I personally couldn't wait to shoot a Chinaman.

Now immagine your an Iraqi.

Social Security seems a little shakey now for the past 20 years.and it seems it could be discontinued as we know it today, and become a thing of the past, do you think that is possible? I`m not losing any sleep over the thought now, but thought I`d ask in case there are others who`ve noticed some of the open cracks that it can fall through.

When the second Gulf war came about in 2003, one of the main concerns was that American SW Asians would not fight against their own...

Now.. that Bush has sent the gaurd to the border, with many more of hispanic origin and descent...in our military, than Middle Easteners, what would you say the probability of an American-Mexican turning on his country-- his oath, to disobey his orders and let "whomever" do as they please?

I mean come on.. Did this just skip through congress? Many military men/ women arn't even citizens yet. Why the hell would they protect something their not even apart of?

To me that's just a bit uneasy. With experience in the service, I can tell you right now, this issue may play a major one.

Hispanics aren't going to fight themselves...especially if they have family remaining on the other side.

I know they took the oath and all.. but, to many, an oath is just words...

Do you believe this is of some importance? And Why?

Thanks.. Rob :)~

When discussing Israel and the Middle East, will this current crisis be equal to 1967 and 1973? Or, overtime, will this be referred to merly a "crisis" and not full-fleged war?

I read an article in the LA Times on the internet today about the city of Nogales, Mexico complaining about ALL the illegals that the USA are "dumping" on them. They say they are getting all kinds of "bad" people and criminals and they can't handle it! They say they can't afford to handle all these poor people. They seem to feel it is very unfair that the USA is doing this to their town! They say at least 12 busloads per day are dropped off there by the Arizona Border Patrol. Do you feel sorry for the city of Nogales, Mexico?

From the Far Left-Wing-Liberal-ACLU supporting Dems as well as The Farthest Right Wing Conservatives and those 'in-between' up to eighty six "86" % :

1 - Strongly and unequivocally oppose mass amnesty for people
who violate our immigration laws, "Illegal Aliens".

2 - Want the discussion of the possibility of amnesty which encourages illegal immigration to stop. And enforce the immigration laws currently on our books rather than dangle the prospect of citizenship in front of potential immigration lawbreakers.

3 - We must increase immigration law enforcement, not only at borders but in the interior, making it more costly for lawbreakers to disregard our immigration laws...namely,hiring Illegal Aliens.

4- Enforce existing immigration laws. The law enforcement approach would reduce the migration of illegal aliens, reduce the ill-gotten net gain from illegal immigration, raise American wages, improve American working conditions, reduce the drain on services!

There something wrong :
The Israeli population is made of 4 millions and the Arabs more than 300 millions.
Israel dose not have any natural resources where most Arab state do.
Israel is living on aids from the Israeli lobby in the USA.
The Arab have far larger market than that of Israel.
The Arab states spend on military more than Israel.
Most of the Arab states are ruled by small families.
Israel is ruled by Zionists political parties and if you are not Zionist you can not be part to any government in Israel.
Both the Arabs and Israelis are putting their eggs in the USA basket.
Most of the Arab states are American allies and so is Israel.
why Israelis and the Arabs are fighting they have the same allie.

Maybe it is time to have a woman in office. She is rich already so she doesn't need the bribes. She is socially and politcially aware. She has a machine behind her--she has run businesses for years (the magazine and TV show). Do you think she should run as a Republican or Democrat? (She may have to compete with Mrs. Clinton if she goes Democrat.) I think she'd be a better Republican because she believes in hard work, not welfare.
