Follow your Heart! If you believe in your Religion, stick with it. If it makes you feel better to convert to another Religion, then do so.
If it is not possible for you to comment to your Family when they bash other Religions, just walk away. Don't give up on what you believe in, just because of a few intolerant people.
If your Family tells you that you will be out on the streets, if you convert to another Religion, I feel you need to question...Is this really a Family?
My Family is far from perfect but they will never say anything like that, to me. I have had many conversations with my Family, about my doubts with the Catholic Religion and they are almost all, very strict Catholics. They just tell me, what I am telling you...Follow your heart. No matter what Religion I choose, I will always be a part of the Family.
It's your life....so live it your way! You want to hang around Christians, do so!
I am a Roman Catholic but I have my doubts about the Religion because of all of the sex scandals etc.
I can't give you advice on a better Religion but if you ever find one, let me know.
I also have to say...you have a lot of moxie!

You need to go with what you believe in, whether it be Jewish, Christian, Muslim, whatever. I dont think that that the jewsh religion necessarily focuses on "evil things" You may become a christian just to find out that some christians may tell you to stay away from jews or any other religion. I would find a church or synagouge that is closest to what you believe in with a group of people that are not so predjudice. People should try to be empatetic to other religions not bias. Good for you for not being so closed minded. I dont think its the religion, but the values that your family was brought up with. Everyone is entilted to there opinion, but this kind of narrow minded thinking is what is still wrong with our society.

religion is the root of all evil.
Spirituality and enlightenment can be obtained without religion. Even Jesus didn't like religion. He may have taught the law and lived by it, but then He fulfilled it. Done. No need for it. He new we were all one and righteous and we have nothing to prove.
Considering your family situation, definitely do not go Christian. You are just asking for trouble.

It is great that you are thinking towards a religion. Couple of years ago I asked a question to my teacher that why we need a religion why it is so important to stuck with some religion. And my teacher said that it is a nature of human that we seek for a super power to believe in. Centuries ago humans have different gods some times we were worshiping trees, sun and idols, but as civilizations grew up we discovered that all these objects cannot rule the universe. There is someone else who created the whole system, the stars the skies the mountains the oceans and, created the life in those oceans and mountains and we all believe that this who is no one accept God. Now the question arise which God the one believed by Jews, or one of Christians or the God in what Muslims believe? And next question that comes into mind, that to whom one should worship? And my brother let me say the God of all is same and that is Allah. Allah sent Moses towards Bani Israel and the nation of Moses is called Jews. Jews were taught by Moses that
Worship none save Allah (only), and be good to parents and to kindred and to orphans and the needy, and speak kindly to mankind; and establish worship and pay the poor due. Then, after that, ye slid back, save a few of you, being averse (Quran chapter 02, verse 83)
Jews left these teachings they modified the book sent to them by Allah and mankind needed another messenger of God then Allah sent Jesus Christ. The birth of Christ is a miracle of God that he was born without a father and a virgin gave him birth but Christians made him the son of God where as even in bible it is written that Christ is a man of Lord not His son, after Christ when Christians made changes in Bible and left the truth, Allah sent Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) towards mankind as His last prophet. Now keep in mind that from Adam to Muhammad all messengers of Allah told same thing to mankind that there is no one accept Allah to be worshiped.
Now my brother it is up to you to find the true God and worship Him. I am Owais you can talk to me if you want my id is ehmedowais@yahoo.com

Don't blame judaism just because some of your family members are annoying you. Before you discount the faith you were raised with, I think you should learn about it first, because your question seems to show that you are unaware of the true essence of what judaism is all about. Talk to your rabbi about these issues, then ask some of your friends who practice different faiths if they can tell you about their beliefs.
Perhaps you can also read a book or take a course on world religions. After you have the facts about the beliefs of all of these religions, you can begin to analyze for yourself which one feels right for you.

Well that's always the case in all religions i think. No religion tells people to make fun of other believers i think. My religion says to be respectful to other people from other religions. But there are always people telling how bad they are and how they will go through hell etc..That shouldn't be the case. All 3 religions, christians, jews, muslims believe in one God.So,that means, people don't have the right to judge the others, only the God has.You should listen to your heart and try to be a good person both to yourself and to others.Hope you'll find peace.

The sad thing is Christianity has gotten a bad rap. To be a "Christian" is to be Christ-Like. Jesus said in the Bible that "They will hate you(Christians) because of me, so don't think it odd when people "Bash" you. They just don't get it. God want Relationship, not Religion. So be happy that your on of Gods Chose people(Jewish), and read your Bible to have a relationship with Jesus.Your closer to Him now, because you dislike, the same things he does- Judging People. God Bless

yikes...Anyways, if you think your religion is not working for you, then you have every right to convert to another religion. Just remember other religions are not perfect either and have had bad history also.
If what your relatives are saying and it makes you uncomfortable, talk to them about it. Don't let them continue that kind of ignorance. Let them know how you feel. Make a stand, it is your religion.

My contemporary non secular ideals do not fairly in good shape with any faith i comprehend of, so i won't be ready to fairly inform you what i'm, there is not any call for it. in spite of the incontrovertible fact that, i might choose to objective being area of an genuine close by American faith, or another comparable shamanic faith. i might particularly choose to journey that kind of religion. regrettably, i'm getting the sensation which you won't be ready to fairly get the completed journey of it till you're fairly a member of the tribal people who prepare the religion. So, i might particularly choose to change not in elementary terms my faith, yet additionally my id, (a minimum of quickly).

true jews do not do things like this. try researching your own religion before looking fo something else, maybe go to israel and try out a yeshiva or something like that that will educate you to the behaviour of true and moral jews.
your uncle sounds like hes not secure in himself and therefore in order to feel more secure he is bashing everyone else because itr makes him feel good. this is not a healthy reaction and yoiu should not listen to what he says.
