My friend has bought a 5 gallon fish tank and wants to put two 1" goldfish in there, will they be happy and is that enough room??? Her tank is well filtered and she changes a 3rd of the water every two weeks and changes the filter once every four weeks. (that's what the instruction says, and she is very dependent on directions) (oh yeah she asked me to write this becuase she doesn't have a !Yahoo

In the morning my turtle had big swollen eyes.. and she couldn`t open them.. I took her to the vet and he gave her an injection.. and he gave me some vitamin oil to put on her eyes .. any other suggestions?

I allso have a boy tortoise .. so is it contagious .. he is ok till now..
It`s a californian red ears turtle.. really qute.

(I didn't give it to him, he opened the cupboard, lol), and he was absolutely fine! I was freaked out thinking we would be at the vets that night, but it didn't even affect him. Is this normal?

I live in New Your and I am thinking a getting a bunny but really don't know what they eat, what kinda cage i need?. I am thinking of getting a Mini Lop, or an Angora Bunny, but i don't know anything about them! please tell me a list of what they need of a good cage, I'm thinking of getting it by a breeder but I don't know any please tell me some!!! :-o

I just got my rescued bichon frise puppy. He is really really skinny and kind of shy. Is there any kind of special food or extra treats I can give him to help him gain some weight.

Also, What is best for energy. He almost doesn't have the energy to keep his head up after 5 minutes. He was just neutered so does that have something to do with it?

Hi

I have two cats showing similar symptoms and wondered what it could be, they are both about 15 years old, one female and the other her son.

They seem to be aggitated sometimes, scrathing their ears and shaking their heads alot, and dont like their ears being touched at all, they also seem to be licking themselves constantly, something they never have done before, they also scratch their throats also on occasions.

Both do exactly the same and seem to have bigger appetites as well, specially in the morning, I thought maybe it was ear mites so I treated with frontline all my cats but 3 weeks down the line still the same behavior, any ideas ?

He's a 5 inch orange Parrot fish and is gorgeous. We are doing the water changes in between medicine treatments (the carbon is pulled out of the filter) and have raised the temp a few degrees. Anything else we should be doing? We love him and really don't want him to die. Right now he still has a strong appetite, I'm taking that as a good sign

I keep them separated until after he blows bubbles then place her with him, he chases her and then starts biting her she has a sore right now! He has killed 2 other females what am I doing wrong? Please help.

My love for animals is maibe going a bit to the extreme...
Me and Almi, my bichon, understand each other perfectly. I tried to train her to sit! I was succesfull, but I stoped because I think is cruel to make animals play like puppets. Almi understands all I say to her....really....sometimes I think if she is realy "a dog" !!
So , a dog should get our love and attention, not our commands!!!!
