Chris Cuomo, the Good Morning America breakfast show anchor, interviewing Gerry McCann:

"Your story is pretty puzzling - it's tough to understand why you and your wife came to leave your children to go to dinner," Cuomo asserted, remarking that no American parent would "leave their kids in that way".

I ask you. How stupid is that? The first part of his comment was prefectly sensible and valid.... but let's get real. Is this man SERIOUSLY trying to tell us that NO American parents have ever been negligent?

Just read that one of Vick's co-defendants has accepted a plea deal. I'm sure part of his plea is giving up Vick. Good news for justice in America!

Will the terror faction in WallSt/Washington stage another event to blame on Iran, Venezuela, Cuba, etc? On Feb 1st 2007, former national security advisor Zbigniew Brzezinski told the Senate that a US capitalist-fascist imperialist attack on Iran would be justified by the bourgeois state and media by “accusations of Iranian responsibility for the failure [of US policy in Iraq], then by some provocation in Iraq or a terrorist act in the US blamed on Iran, culminating in a ‘defensive’ US military action against Iran that plunges a lonely America into a spreading and deepening quagmire eventually ranging across Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan.” ... ... A PROVOCATION? A TERRORIST ACT IN THE US BLAMED ON IRAN? Hmmm... another Reichstag fire by the treason-at-the-top plantation owners of AmeriKa?

I mean when you look at the list, the countries infront of us only have 30 million people while we have 300million. I do agree we need a better healthcare. But is it really as bad as Michael Moore wants me to think it is.

I feel that our current government (United States) does not represent the true feeling about the situation in Iraq. Would you give them words of comfort, repent, the same as the current administration? I would like to hear some honest and sincere answers. This question is open to anyone, but am particularly interested in the American view.

A blonde went to the appliance store sale and found a bargain. "I would like to buy this TV," she told the salesman.

"Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

The blonde was very angry about this. She hurried home and dyed her hair, then came back and again told the salesman, "I would like to buy this TV."

"Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

The blonde did not know how the salesman had recognized her. This time, she got a haircut and new color, a new outfit and big sunglasses. She then waited a few days before she approached the salesman.

"I would like to buy this TV."

"Sorry, we don't sell to blondes," he replied.

Frustrated, she exclaimed, "How do you know I'm a blonde?"

"Because that's a microwave," he replied.

That's what I've been reading today. But can't we all agree on the following?:

1. We should all wait until the evidence comes in before we "convict" him. Vick must be given due process like every other American, and is entitled to a trial where he's "innocent until proven guilty."

2. Right now though, the evidence sure looks bad. Lots of dead pit bulls buried on his property who died from fighting and from barbaric forms of execution. Also, Vick has a license for dog "breeding," and has been seen by numerous witnesses at these brutal events.

3. If Vick is convicted of what they said he did, he should do substantial time in jail, and be banned from the NFL, or at least suspended for a long time.

From July 1998 through December 2005, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) killed over 14,400 dogs, cats, and other "companion animals." That's more than five defenseless creatures every day. PETA has a walk-in freezer to store the dead bodies, and contracts with a Virginia Beach company to cremate them.

So what are they doing protesting Vick?

Where were the black "due-process" protesters when the Duke lacrosse players were being publically lynched just a few miles down the road from where Mike Vick had his hearing?

(remember, in that case, the white school administrators, media, and law enforcement officials were also trying to hang those boys out to dry....)

wut is your opinion on the michael vick dog fighting incident? personally i think animal cruelty(dog fights) is one of the worst crimes a person can commit. plus the guy's already rich, why does he need to be involved in dog fights. honestly i think he deserves 10 years minimum in prison.
