wut is your opinion on the michael vick dog fighting incident? personally i think animal cruelty(dog fights) is one of the worst crimes a person can commit. plus the guy's already rich, why does he need to be involved in dog fights. honestly i think he deserves 10 years minimum in prison.

I can't stand people who are cruel to animals.. I just don't understand it. The fighting is bad enough, then you read how they killed them if they were injured or not good enough to fight.... It's ridiculous. And like you say, it's not like he needed the money! I hope he and those others involved gets the maximum sentence. However if I was the judge, I would like to do to him what he had done to those dogs.

okay I love dogs and always thought dog fights were wrong but I don't understand why this is so new to a lot of people. Sure I'm from the other side of town where I've seen dog fights my entire life. Until this issue came about I thought pit bulls were supposed to fight that's why they are called pit bulls. I've even seen chickens fight but I guess it's okay because we eat them. Why is it okay to hunt other animals but it's wrong to fight dogs? Dogs are domestic animals right? Does that make it right to kill any other animals? They even eat dogs in other countries. But that's the law. I compare this law to spanking your children. Some people still do it but it is illegal. This animal stuff is all a matter of opinion. Why in the hell do people leave huge amounts of money for their animals when they die?

This whole scenario is ridiculous. It makes the owners of pitbulls look even worse including me. I dont get my puppy til the end of month but I am already having a hard time defending the breed. This dog fighting crap just needs to stop. Band the Deed not the Breed.

What he is accused of doing is wrong. If he is convicted, then he needs to serve the same amount of time as a normal individual would get. No more or less due to his fame. It should be the same for all of these Hollywood sluts and their drinking and drug convictions. In the real world Lindsey would be looking at 3 to 5 years in prison, it will be interesting to see what she gets.

I think him and his brother Marcus are both crooks... Yes they are good players, but they have no regard for the justice system, which is ruining their careers.. Hell, Marcus Vick went from a good QB in college, to a 3rd string kick returner for the Dolphins... Why??? Because he pulled a gun on 3 teenagers...

They are no different then all the celebrities mocking our justice system too... Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton.. They think they are above all...

I think we need to have all of them thrown behind bars and made examples of... Especially Michael Vick...

I believe dog fights are inhumane, and I really hope that he was not the one orchestrating this whole thing. I think it's his right to be innocent until proven guilty though. I will see how the trial plays out and make my judgments accordingly. The media has a way of making people guilty before they are even given a fair trial.

Right now there are a lot of people who instantly believe that he's guilty, I am leaning towards guilty and am outraged by the prospect of a role model involving himself in something so cruel, but the American legal system has a job to do, let's let them do it. I still think that he's at least somewhat guilty because he should at least check up on what's going on in each of his properties.

If he is guilt give him the same treatment except keep him alive. Find some big dude to throw him up against a wall, or shock him till he almost dies, or hold his head in bucket of water for 2 minutes. The bastard needs to suffer.

He will soon be with the rest of his "homies" where he should. Where is the prison that has the dogs for searches and control? That would be the ideal place!!!

I agree. I also question why this has become a 'black vs. white' issue. Animal cruelty is animal cruelty, regardless of your race. -RKO- 07/27/07
