Isn't there already a war in the Middle East?
With regards to Iran, I think Israel will be doing the fighting (mostly bombing) and we will provide some support to them as we always do. Maybe somewhere around next Summer.
It's going to be interesting if and how this situation plays into the election.

Sen. Joseph Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Sunday the U.S. should be prepared for a military strike against Iran, proclaiming that “we cannot let them get away” with training anti-U.S. forces for operations in Iraq.
“I think we’ve got to be prepared to take aggressive military action against the Iranians to stop them from killing Americans in Iraq,” Lieberman said. “And to me, that would include a strike … over the border into Iran, where we have good evidence that they have a base at which they are training these people coming back into Iraq to kill our soldiers.”

If things do not make a drastic turn around in the very near future it is inevitable.Iran is trying to get a nuke and if so they will use it probably against Israel,and this is not right.They are not the ones to determine if Israel should be a State.I believe that they would try to target the US also, and that can not be allowed.

i think it may happen sooner then you think. if iran does not stop making nucleur bombs then i see no choice but stoping them. the last thing we want to do is start a war in iran. we have to keep talking to them and see what we can do before we cant do anything more. hopefully we dont have to go to war.

In the upcoming months, no. In the upcoming years, yes. The US will not attack Iran while they have troops in Iraq. Israel may.
